This place is horrible and Smelly and they steal your stuff and have 4 patuen in one room nasty and floors in rooms are dangerous if wet The staff can’t be bothered they gave an IV TO MY MOM IN LAW gave her a bad reation that she had to go to the emergency they dont even notify the family they just there to not do their jobs and get a check . Do not bring your loved ones here. place looks more like a jail dorme.

7 years ago My mother was brought to this location after she had begun stage 4 lung failure due to emphysema she was on a ventilator for 7 months in this place at which time sometimes there would not be a nurse to be able to help her change or clean up after herself after an accident for hours! At one time she was brought to the hospital because her CO2 level was extremely high when they got it under control they sent her back to this facility at which time there was a temp who was doing with my mother's oxygen tank and being able to hook her back up to the ventilator when I got to the place my mother was turning blue and she coded all because this lady that they had brought into the facility did not turn on her oxygen! Luckily I noticed it and got the help that my mother needed.. This place is far from where you would want to send your loved ones for needed help I would highly recommend going somewhere else!

The therapy staff was very compitent and concerned about my progress. . The food was good and had a large variety. The staff was very pleasant and helpful

The SNF world has changed so much over the last few years and COVID has strained healthcare to unimaginable limits. But when you have people that truly love what they do and are passionate about taking care of others, any obstacle can be overcome!

Social services Director worked with family in assisting them to transition from Medicare to Hospice and placement of resident in home. Family stated that the process was very easy and everyone in Avante at Orlando was extremely helpful!

I cannot stress this strongly enough…Please stay AWAY from this place!! My loved one has been in the hospital in the critical care unit for 2 weeks now because of this facility!! He was unable to feed himself due to the staff not giving him his daily dosages of medication which led to in mobility. They would serve him puréed food but not take the time to sit and feed him or keep him hydrated. He became so severely dehydrated and under nourished that the hospital didn’t think he could recover! He also got a terrible bedsore from the lack of care. He is literally still fighting for his life right now because of the lack of experience, care and ignorance of this facilities staff!! STAY AWAY

This place is HORRIBLE. My grandmas health deteriorated after being here for 2 months. They don’t care for your loved ones. My grandma left with a diaper rash that led to her death in December 2021. She never had diaper rashes; therefore it was due to the factor of their lack of changing diapers frequently. This company is lucky my family is not suing and taking legal matters. Not just the care for their patients, but this facility is dirty and has a strong odor. Please stay clear of this nursing home.
