URGENT WARNING: Clarity Clinic is Balance Billing Above Contracted Rates I am writing this review to alert all patients about a significant billing issue involving balance billing. Despite being an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BlueChoice Select), Clarity Clinic is attempting to charge me an amount that is explicitly above the negotiated, contracted rate agreed upon between the provider and the insurance company. I spoke to my insurance company who said they cannot stop a provider from charging over the contracted rate. They just will not pay it to the provider and why they use language like: You "may" owe your health care provider for these services. Please see screenshot provided. I was also directed to my official Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documentation which clearly confirms this violation, stating: "The amount billed is more than the amount allowed for this BlueChoice Select service. Your provider should not bill you for any balance over what is allowed." The amount allowed on the first line item was $123.04 and my insurance paid out more at $137.96. And they still want more money from me. Separately, I was told the providers know when you have not met your deductible and this is when they do this. Because they can't get the extra money from the insurance company, they do this with the patient who has not yet met their deductible. This is clear evidence that the clinic is VIOLATING ITS CONTRACTED RATE WITH BCBS. After multiple attempts to resolve this issue with the clinic's billing department, they have consistently refused to acknowledge the EOB and have claimed that my insurance company is giving me false information. Furthermore, my insurance company was unable to explain why I'm being charged for two services, both a medical visit and a therapy session and billing at CC was also unable to help here. Is this another issue? I don't know but I'm very suspicious!! Patients please proceed with extreme caution and meticulously check their EOBs against any bills received from Clarity Clinic. Their practice of overbilling and subsequent refusal to correct the issue is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

I visited Clarity Clinic as a new patient. I found everyone to be so helpful! The office is also a beautiful calm space. Loved the time spent with Ronisha, and I felt she was truly interested in me. I’ve scheduled another visit and plan to use the services that Clarity Clinic provides.

I had an appointment scheduled here for 11:00 A.M. on a Wednesday. On my way to the appointment, I found out they had cancelled it due to intake paperwork not having been completed 48 hours before the appointment... I received my first and only email about intake paperwork from them at 1:38 P.M. the day beforehand (less than 24 hours before my appointment). I called the clinic and was met by an unfortunately unhelpful and curt woman that said that they will not honor my appointment regardless of their error. I am disappointed and frustrated that they are letting their unorganization and unprofessional behavior get in the way of client care. I will certainly not be going here and recommend anyone think twice before trying to schedule an appointment with Clarity Clinic.

I completed the PHP/IOP program and was very happy with my progress. All the staff was very professional and genuinely cared about your treatment. I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a PHP/IOP program.

lol the place is fine and people do their jobs, which i guess is what's expected. If you don't have any money though, or are strapped for cash (like most of us are these days), I'd go somewhere where they have compassion & empathy & actually HELP you access the care/resources you need instead of just saying "can't pay? 🤷🏽‍♀️ that sucks. good luck."
