I attended this place over the summer; my therapist Tara had helped me work through any mental struggles I was dealing with and now I am better than ever.

From day one, the Connections in Keller entire staff was prompt in response, kind about the issues we were facing, courteous, respinsove to my child’s needs and helped tremendously. I couldn’t be happier.

I want to start by saying that I do not WANT to put my child’s personal mental health struggles out there. However, I believe sharing this experience may help other parents make an informed decision. This whole thing was a new experience for our family, and I wish I knew more at the time. I also held off on writing this review because I did not want it to impact our ability to receive a refund we are owed. At this point, I am exhausted from following up, and people need to be aware of our experience. We enrolled our child in PHP/IOP services during the summer of 2025 with high hopes, but our experience was deeply disappointing. One of the biggest issues was communication. We were told that “no update is a good update.” That is simply unacceptable. Parents deserve regular, proactive updates, especially when paying thousands of dollars for mental health services. We only received information when we specifically asked for it. Medication management was another major concern. I clearly informed the program that my child’s medications needed to be monitored and adjusted as necessary. Despite this, no changes were made, and there was no meaningful discussion regarding the medication plan. Overall, the program felt more like glorified babysitting than therapeutic care. Yes, if you ask my child whether they enjoyed their time there, they will say yes because they were finally around peers similar to them, unlike at school. But enjoyment is not the same as treatment or progress. Unfortunately, a few weeks after leaving the program, my child experienced a major mental health crisis that required inpatient hospitalization. They attended this program at CWG for 2 - 3 months and had nothing to show for it that helped in their actual time of need. The transition from PHP to IOP also felt rushed rather than clinically driven, particularly since my child was the only participant in PHP at that time. On top of all of this, we discovered we were owed a refund due to an overpayment. This is something that would never have been disclosed had I not done the math myself. Their accounting department has been extremely dismissive. I have an email thread dating back to August 2025 about correcting charges and requesting this refund. Now as we approach January 2026, I am still the one following up and receiving minimal responses. They will not even confirm whether a refund check has been issued. If you are serious about your child’s mental health, this is not the place. And if you have used this program, I strongly encourage you to double-check your billing and do not stop following up if you are owed money.

Awesome place for therapy

This place seriously helped my mental health. When I first got here, I was at my rock bottom, I was pretty stubborn too when I first got there. At first I didnt wanna do anything, but by the time I was starting to get on the right meds, it made my journey easier for me. The more my meds were increased, the more I did the work, it led me on a path of getting better, and I got so much better. I discharged a week ago, I was there for 3 months. It was a serious huge help, therapists like Neanna, Maddie, and Tera, they are all so kind and patient, they are the best therapists ive ever had, im forever grateful that they helped me. I would come back again if I was ever at that same place I used to be.

Great business the doctors there are excellent. They understand my needs and concerns. If I have questions about my medication, they will help me understand it better. Heather Spengler is a great doctor 10 out of 10. Recommend I wish I could give more stars billing is easy. Everything is simple.

We have been thrilled with CWG. My child has learned a lot of great tools and has transformed into a happy kid. Thank you so much for all of the love you have given our family.

I went to a different location for PHP/IOP almost two years back. It was a fantastic experience and really helped me at the time. Ever since, I've been seeing a psychiatrist at this location. If you are not in a crisis, or have now left their program, do not continue getting care from CWG Keller. It's like pulling teeth to get the medications I need. I called to get a refill for my non-controlled substance medications. I was told to schedule an appointment, so I did...the soonest they could see me was 3 weeks out at that point. I asked for an emergency refill to last until the appointment and I was met with disrespect and neglect. I was told to get my medication elsewhere. They even said I only received two refills since they last saw me, insinuating i get the rest of my meds somewhere else which is objectively untrue based off my pharmacy records. Before their final response, I had run out of medication and was experiencing intense, debilitating withdrawals on top of high amounts of stress dealing with these rude responses. I tried filing a complaint with one of the directors and was given a very PR answer. No apologies, nothing. They said it was just a miscommunication. Said I missed an appointment in December that caused me to be an inactive patient. I never had an appointment in December (or was never told of one). Nobody ever reached out to me about my inactive status. Prescriptions were still being filled until a month ago. I had no reason to believe I was an "inactive patient". It definitely felt like they were pinning everything on me, rather than taking responsibility. I never even got to talk to my psychiatrist during all of this. Not once. My real complaint is with the medications department and director as those are the only people I got to communicate with. Based off these interactions, its safe to say this company (or at least the office) does not care about you after they've drained you of money. They will throw accusations and make things up the second you give feedback. Save your sanity, and try somewhere else. I learned the hard way.
