This is a very nice place. Most of the staff are actually good. I'd come back again because of the care I've received from staff and met so many amazing people here. Mikah is one of my favorites from the first day I met him. He has a heart of gold, and he is an amazing individual. This employee needs a raise. He's there for the peers and wished he'd work more due to the joy and smiles he brought to me. Ashley is a Rockstar. She's made me feel special and welcome ever since I've been here. The few recommendations I personally recommend are; offering the program from a month up to 3 or 4, because it takes time for residents to obtain better housing or other programs such as respite. Change up the menus to something better. For example, like breakfast. Try not to do cereal three times a week. Try more homemade meals for every meal period. Not everyone wants to eat the same things every week except for Taco Tuesday. Keep that. Now to the complaints the office manager is very inconsistent with checking mail. I had to get a new ID yesterday because of the fact it got sent back while I was still here. I'm very upset because I had to spend more time to get a replacement very lucky I didn't have to pay for it. My cash app card NEVER showed up either. She should've been more responsible and consistent with checking mail. The director should have a key also not just the office manager in case if she's sick. My biggest complaint is the Case manager. She was great at first, but then she stopped helping me. Meanwhile she started giving attitude and being snotty towards me. Also they don't have a replacement for her while she's on leave which is very strange. I had to reach out to my person from Multnomah county in order to get some sort of help because she didn't care anymore and made me feel like she didn't need to help. Also she caused me tons of anxiety the last time I saw her, she was rude and said that she was being bugged about my discharge earlier this week. She said it in the most DISRESPECTFUL way. I've never been disrespected by anyone like this that has a title as case manager.

Ashley was a terrific asset to Jackson House she is very knowledgeable and personable, James is a great cook and a wonderful person he really cares. Oscar is easy to talk to and listens to what you have to say and takes action to address your concerns

It was really nice comforting and courageous because of the staff and also I thank Hope and Mika and James for being honest and good people and I thank you all for letting me stay long enough

Jackson House is a great place with great people who are dedicated to helping people who are struggling with mental health problems and homelessness get the resources they need to have a better life. My time there was very positive and I am better for it. If you need help don’t hesitate reaching out! I feel good knowing they will always be there if I ever need help again.

You know why. What's the phrase? One bad apple can spoil the bunch. If that bad apple gets taken care of let me know. I would love to edit this and tell everyone about the amazing people there. But unfortunately I can't. I also find it a little odd that most of the 5 star reviews of this place since the new director took over are by people that have never been here. And as another review here said this is a for profit money machine. If you have any choice try to go to the respites run by cascadia. I also reported the fake reviews by people that have obviously not stayed here. Thank you

Terrible Experience. Try to contact them via email, phone, in person and you get ignored. No return to emails, nothing. Seems they just want you there to collect the insurance money and nothing else. Tried a second time to come and asked some questions about my accomodations and to postone a week or two and I got ignored with the emails etc and they reached out to my team and said get another referral. NO how about addressing my concerns. I should not have to do medical things in a unsanitary bathroom. All I asked for was a area I can go in there to do some of my medical stuff that is SANITARY. Simple question. Why ghost me? Place just seems shady and like they dont care. Still waiting for them to make this right with me from way back in June, Won't hold my breath :* Edit* I HAVE reached out to the number and the manager, NOTHING is ever done to solve it just a generic response and then ignored again when someone states that "someone will reach out to you"
