Great staff great students great school!!!

U should get with the program and allow phones all schools that I've been to allow phones this school sucks u have people with adhd and social anxiety and depression that music helps with.

Haynes is truly a special place for children. The staff participates in ongoing professional development throughout the year, ensuring they are well-trained at all educational levels. When my mother visited, she commented on how happy and healthy everyone looked she immediately felt a positive and welcoming atmosphere. I just had to share that! Special thanks to our incredible leadership Ms. Meg, Ms. Lupe, and Ms. Evette and to our amazing BI team. Haynes is not only diverse but also filled with passionate, talented individuals who genuinely care about the children and families we serve. It needed to be said: we are grateful to be part of such a dedicated and supportive program. Thank you all for the work you do and for being a part of the Haynes family!

I was sent to this Placement/Boys home for the first time in 1989/1990. I was 13 yrs old. Hyper as heck but maintained pretty good. I ran away from the previous placement i was in but only to be returned back. The placement was called St.Catherines Boys and Girls home. I was there a couple of months then one of the cooks decided to use raid as a non stick spray. So they were closed down and i was sent to Leroy Boys Home. Best thing that happened to me at this point in my life. I was sent back home wheen i was 16. I missed it so much I purposely got into trouble and ran away from home so i could go back to Leroys Boys Home. I asked and the county let me go back until I turned 18. I left but should of stayed in the apartments on side of the hill. I wonder how my life would of turned out. I played basketball for Andre Basuiex (hope its spelled correctly). I played the wing for the varsity team. I was called the secret weapon. Being the little guy on the team/court didnt bother me. I used to shoot with two hands from the 3 point line. I think i averaged around! 60% from the 3. I was 4 foot 9 inches tall. I went on to play for the lancers until my senior year as point guard. I managed to score 38 in one game. Division championship came to us and i was injured purposely first play third quarter. Pushed in mid shot in mid air and tried catching myself but broke my wrist. My senior season was done. We would go on to win the game and play for the championship. We showed up but since I was unable to play my team forfeited. Best teammates ever!! I miss Juan, and snacks, mike Alejo, Gerald Hall, , Marvin, Clint hill, and the rest of the team. Leroy boys home saved my life. Taught me courage and truth. Showed me a better way and gave me a chance at life. Something i didn't have. Hope. It gave me hope. Thank you Uncle Leroy. Thanks Aunt Cheryl. Thank you to All that made it possible for me to live again. I wouldn't change my past for the anything. Steven C Nowak. P.S. i went on to complete Culinary Arts and went to Utah State University for a short time.3 years after i left Leroys Boys Home. Im 49 now and still I think about those days. I still makes me smile when i reminisce.

Yeah everything's all good till they put their hands on your kid. Restraining them and throwing them in a padded room giving them carpet burn on their face and beat them like they're grown man. I should know I used to be a resident there when it was Leroy's boys home.

I just had my tour, and I'm very excited for my son to start. I love it, and it's just what I been looking for!

This used to be my school. My name is Armando Vega. The classroom I was in was Miss Savannah. My 101 was miss Mary. We have 3 teachers. Miss Diane, Our principal name was Miss CC Thanks to this school look where i'm at now healthy

Everyone put 110% on the children with each individual learning disability. Great atmosphere it’s like a little college for our children. Divorce had us moved, but would return in a heartbeat 💓
