Located near Maryland Route 32, this outpatient center guides youth ages 2 to 21 and their families through trauma recovery. Clinicians treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and stress linked to abuse, neglect, and violence. Families engage in care grounded in emotional growth and cultural awareness. Build Emotional Strength Through Therapy The team uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parent-child interaction therapy to help youth manage emotions and regain a sense of safety. They blend talk, movement, and play-based strategies with consistent caregiver involvement. Each plan builds self-regulation and strengthens connections at home and in the community. Create Safe Paths for Recovery The center also includes the Center for Developmental Behavioral Health, which supports youth with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and learning challenges. The Specialized Transition Program helps children recovering from brain injuries or serious health conditions return to school and daily life through short-term, focused therapy. Group sessions and mindfulness activities help youth move forward after grief, loss, or trauma.
