Mind Above Matter

My daughter went here this previous summer June thru August of 2025. We had multiple problems with her stay, but two major ones: if your planning for significant help stray away from this location somehow she was able to kiss someone here. Also, the amount of trans kids she was starting to try to follow suit. Luckily after being gone from there never heard that again she was following what others do. Another problem: she was discharged a week before her expected time and I paid up front with credit card and insurance. NEVER DO THAT JUST DO PAYMENT PLAN YOULL NEVER GET REFUNDED. I have emailed the facility since MULTIPLE TIMEs, no response. CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES WITH MANY VOICEMAILS- no care to call back. EVEN CALLED CORPORATE!!!!! I was told by them Id receive a call back. I have patiently waited another 3 weeks for that....NO! they are money hungry and no refund for the extra week. I already have signifant medical bills for my daughter and have spent over 10,000$ just in 2025. The least they could do is refund the week she was NOT there so I could use towards her other medical debt. instead i get no responses and always told someone will reach out. Nope they never do. Good luck to whoever chooses this place and I understand may be insurance as mine forced me here but never again.

Peaceful, healing environment with the most caring and competent staff!

We had the absolute best experience working with Ally. She was my child’s therapist and made such a positive impact on her life, not just in her progress, but in her confidence and overall happiness. From the very beginning, Ally made our entire family feel included in the process. She took the time to explain everything clearly, welcomed our questions, and always made us feel heard. My son was 21 just lost his grandpa when he went to see them.. They reported my son as suicidal and now my son can't get life insurance! This is sooo wrong! He went to get help from them and they turned on him he is doing good now no thanks them and because of them cant get life insurance! It's heartbreaking

I spoke with Lori from the Keller location and she was exceptional. It’s very discouraging when you are in a situation and seeking help and it seems like everyone you turn to is rude. When I called mind above matter Lori was the most sweetest and most helpful. I am a firm believer in people never forget how you make them feel. So thank you Lori, for doing so great at your job! My experience with the program manager, Ms. Ashley Mokoko, has been nothing short of greatness. I can tell that she not only cares about the work she does, especially with veterans, but she is also passionate about her patients and her job. She leaves no stone unturned. She shows that she truly cares about you and wants you to heal or simply get into a much better space in life. If someone is looking for a place to start their own journey of healing or in need of a helping hand or an ear to listen, I would highly recommend Ms. Mokoko.
