Great place. However, php unironically undid everything this place did for me.

I had a good time in Newport academy fixed my problems and staff were nice made friends, first when I got here I was lowkey scared but friends what really made me wanna stay here. elite experience

We hit a wave of teenage destructive behavior at my house and we didn’t know what to do. At first I put this facility in my pocket and thought things might get better, guess what, they didn’t. They hit an all time high that made me call at 3am desperate for help. Every single person I spoke to, every therapist, doctor, nurse, and staff member was exceptional. My son left 5 days after the blast of “this isnt safe behavior anymore”. It was the best decision we have made for our son. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Our son had a wonderful 6 weeks focused, re-learning how to live, re-learning himself. Can’t say enough about Newport Academy!

I was on the verge of suicide. I wanted nothing more than to smoke weed and play video games. I fell into a horrible spiral that made me think the only way out was through killing myself. Then I got sent to Newport and at first I hated it with every ounce in my body. I made the argument that I didn’t need it and I could get sober on my own. But as time carried on I started to lean into the program. Newport saved my life and I will forever be grateful. The food is some of the best I’ve had, the staff is kind and caring and the clients are crazy but in a lovable way. If you are thinking about Newport please do consider it because they truly are there to help you!

Newport was the most phenomenal time of my life, the staff amazing, alumni director amazing, food amazing, I got to be a CL and my other friends I made were amazing I will never forget the impact this place had on me.

I went to newport March 8 2025. This is after trying to run away, and getting caught by a cop. The reason? I fell into deep alchoholism and had major anxiety about going to school, So much so I stopped going every day. I almost got a truancy. This was my way out, And it saved me.

Newport Port Townsend was transformational for my son who was there for severe depression. Their strength is their people. They stuck with him even when he didn't want to change. Their goal is not to just turn up to work. Their goal is to help people who need help. Then layer on that they are skilled professionals who know what they're doing. My son's clinical director, family therapist and our primary point of contact, named Angel, had a lifechanging impact on my son. She did not shy away from the questions that needed to be addressed. The CCs like Jaimison and Bailey walked every step with my son. He also did well academically while at residential thanks to Ryan and the academic staff. The team at Newport Port Townsend nurtured him and guided him to change. He discovered new interests and talents he didn't know he had. We have our son back. I don't give this review lightly. We have not had the same experience with other facilities - but what matters is my son got the help he needed when he needed it most, at Newport Port Townsend, when he was at his lowest and most vulnerable. Thank you, Newport Port Townsend. We are very grateful.

Being at Newport Port Townsend residential was a great experience for me. I went there at a deep, dark, and sad time in my life, and my time there was great. The thing that had the most impact on me was the staff. All of the staff at Newport Port Townsend really cared. None of them got on my nerves too much and a few really made my stay amazing. As a hungry teenage boy trust me do not be worried about the food. They have three amazing chefs always preparing hearty breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. They would only repeat meals every two weeks and 80% of the meals were really good. They were also really good at accommodating for allergies and diets like they would cook chicken for someone who couldn't eat the pork in the meal so they still got protein. Overall, Port Townsend Residential was a great place for me. And if you are even considering residential in the first place I would highly recommend it. Taking some time to get away from my old unhealthy life and be encouraged into a new one really helped me.
