Natural State Recovery Centers

Horrible place, ran by horrible people who truly don't care. Never in my life have I been so mistreated and disrespected. I was admitted in with addiction to alcohol and unfortunately had developed some liver problems, which they knew from speaking with me and my admissions paperwork. After being there for a week I started developing some bloating due to bad diet (greasy bad food served there) and not being given the right medication. They MADE ME go to the hospital for my bloating, but would not allow me to take any of my belongings (phone, card, cash, ID, ect) stating I wouldn't need them since I obviously would be returning. Well that didn't happen. When I called to have them come pick me back up from the hospital they told me I couldn't come back, and put me out on the street knowing I'm not from this State. If you can choose anywhere else to go I would. The curriculum is a joke. You spend most of your time waiting around doing roll call, since they apparently have had an issue keeping up with their clients. Staff is very unprofessional.

I went here for a few months for help with tapering off of benzos that I had been prescribed for anxiety. I was having a lot of trouble or with withdrawal symptoms and wanted to make sure I was tapering the correct way. I met with Brian a couple times and he was very nice. The only negative I have is he did a drug test on me without disclosing that I would get a bill. Now I have a $180 bill to test for drugs that I was prescribed. It would have been nice if the fact that I would have to pay so much for a drug test was disclosed before taking it, and if I had been given an option to opt out.

I would just like to share my experience about Natural State and the guy Michael who manages the sober living houses. If it was not for him my son would be dead. He told me from the beginning that if my son was willing to go to any lengths to change his life then he would have a chance. I almost enabled my son to his grave by not listening to Michael and taking his suggestions. Today my son has a little over a year sober and is a new person. He also suggested that I go to Alanon meetings which I have been for a year and the relief that I get from these meetings are priceless. My son was making every excuse in the world to me and I was believing him instead of someone who has walked in his shoes. Again thank you Michael and Natural State Recovery.

Best rehab I have ever been to. Food is amazing staff is great, therapist are amazing I couldn’t ask for a better experience thank you natural state!!

This is the BEST 30 day facility I have EVER been to. They came and picked me up and showed me nothing but love the whole time I was there. The councilors and peer support are TOP NOTCH there is nothing better than learning about recovery from people who have been through recovery. The H&I meetings are truly amazing, the AA & NA come to the facility and tell their stories. All the story’s were good and helped me in my recovery giving me hope. The food is AMAZING… There are two awesome chefs that KNOW HOW TO COOK. YOU WILL EAT LIKE A KING/QUEEN. They also help you get into sober living and give you plenty of recourses you can use upon discharge. They have a heart for recovery and they deserve 5 STARS

Was there for only 2 weeks due to insurance lapsed, But in the 2 weeks I was there I learned so much about myself, great staff and great residents,

I can't share about this center because I'm not familiar with it, however I will say that the contact my daughter was instructed to call, Michael, was short, curt and rude. He would interrupt when we were asking questions as thought he already knew what we were going to ask. Stated he's been with the program since 2019 and nothing has changed that to come in you must pay $320 and find a job in 30 days. When I asked him how an unemployed person is supposed to get started with the program he abruptly cut me off with his response. I question the level of care this place will provide with people of his disposition talking the way he does. His tone was demeaning and he used words like these people, which was condescending. Seemed like to much judgement to me.

I’m grateful for this rehab it’s amazing it really helps there is great staff at in patient and out patient great food and everything I’d recommend this place to everyone that needs help with drug and alcohol addiction
