Northpoint Seattle

Participated in virtual IOP program after completing inpatient through Northpoint. Couldn’t ask for a better continuation of support for my recovery. It continued working on the tools/knowledge that you learn during inpatient to the point by the end most of them are almost second nature. Counselors were amazing and having weekly breath work, meditation, and yoga really really helps you apply that to your recovery on a regular basis and are extremely important tools. Like any program you get back what you put in. Take it seriously. Learn as much as you can. If not you’ll end up back in treatment in no time.

Great program that helped keep me on track!

First off- I am glad you are looking at reviews and options to support you in your journey towards recovery. I have been 2x impatient in Edmonds, 1x in IOP in Northgate and what a disaster. There was no communication between facilities whatsoever! I have given more than enough time and money to NP, yet when I moved to the IOP program I didn’t have a counseling session for a month, even though I was supposed to have it atleast biweekly. I felt more alone in this IOP experience than I did during my drinking period. All they want is insurance money, they will sign anything and everything. Your counselor will belittle you. Classes have NO STRUCTURE WHATSOEVER. Like I said, I learned nothing most of the time in the program. My cohort was great, but I cannot begin to emphasize how isolating my experience was. I am looking for a different program that have structure, actual counselors, and outside support. There are plenty in the Seattle Area. I hope you find your peace (even in Northpoint). Living in recovery as to be better, especially outside of Northpoint Seattle.

North point recovery center really took the time to listen to my needs and tailor my recovery plan around those needs. The counselors were great and engaged the group while my one on ones with Jennifer were in depth and handled with guidance and compassion. Over all this was a great experience that I’ll be forever grateful for.

Jackie was an incredible alumni coordinator who truly made a lasting impact at the rehab facility. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and supported, whether it was through the events she organized or the personal check-ins she never failed to follow through on. Jackie’s energy was uplifting, her compassion was genuine, and she built a community that gave people hope and connection long after their treatment ended. It was clear she cared deeply about each person’s journey, and her dedication turned the alumni program into something meaningful that people could rely on during recovery.

For me this program worked. The staff was adaptive and available. You will be hit with the normal drama of having 44 recovering alcoholics and addicts, but the 28 day inpatie t skills, relapse prevention, and education on why we are the way we are gave me hope. I am leaving here proud of what I have accomplished and have lots of work to do , but I am leaving with some self esteem back.
