Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention

They don’t even deserve one star. This is by far the worst place you could send someone with mental illness. The staff is beyond unprofessional, including the “therapist” who was beyond disrespect to me (s/o to a patient). The phones don’t work well enough to hear the patient, which is probably due to the fact they want to make them feel worse and keep them longer to make more money. They do not care nor are sympathetic in any way towards family members or the patients. It is strictly for money. I have never been more disgusted with a facility and how it is ran.

Was brought here when red rock and the place next door were full, and I think the lack of privacy is quite jarring. I suppose if maybe someone were used to not having any, it might be different, but at least some curtains for the alcoves. I personally had to stay in the middle of the room, and on top of plenty of noise from a man getting tranquilizer and a woman screaming about weed and cigarettes, the tv was playing rather loudly. Even with my bipap, I couldn't drown out the noise at all. I mean, I know there's not much they can do about the people shouting, but did the tv really need to be heard from across the entire holding cell? And for water, all we got were little 2 oz cups! Like, for taking meds or rinsing after brushing, but i'd need to take 40 cups just to get the *minimum* amount of water in a day! If you're going to use disposable cups anyways, at least get some with decent size :/ but at least the temp was comfortable, and the staff seemed nice enough. I ended up transferring within 14 hours, so I can't attest to actual therapy, but the food, the only meal I got, was awful. I don't know how you can mess up syrup, but sysco found out. At least it was filling after not being able to eat for 2 days, but I still had to wait about 7 hours till I got it. All in all, I suppose it's better than prison, not that I've ever been.

As a parent this place has been my saving grace! Even before this building was erected. The previous location I've utized as well as this location. No regrets!!

Failed my granddaughter very disrespectful when trying to deliver medicine or clothing.

So I went here for an hour last night, Not really sure if I can say this is the best evaluation for young white people well-being, better off going to jail for better help As I made it very clear to the doctor that I was lying and confessed how I was feeling, not like it did anything there like a Brick wall staff has a lot of attitude singing “not like us”, the man that discharged me I told him that I want to hurt people 5 min before he discharge me, jest bc I was like “ what… do I have to lie so I can leave” then he doesn’t say anything so I did, even tho ik they didn’t have to be racial in their cloud of judgment ment, I told them this is Basically a homeless shelter for homeless well being alll they do here is watch you as you sleep then send you next door to Northcare, soo if You’re looking for a homeless evaluation this is the place, if you’re suicidal, you have better luck in jail they understand people better then doctors not going to lie, no one in that building will help you crisis center more like homeless center… oh and also the blanket made my hand stink really bad, they don’t even get clean blankets, I didn’t even put it on, there right this ain’t a homeless shelter, as a homlless man comes in homless looking throwing fits, but yeah I’ll never find help from a doctor here again for what I need bc they don’t want to give you what it is you would need. Even the homless shelter helps young people better then the crisis center, so if there’s ever a crisis, I would go visit your neighborhood, homeless shelter they can take care of alll your problems But if that don’t work, my next suggestion is play some Fortnite .

Very professional and Caring workers. They where there for me when I was in my absolute worst state of mind. I would not be here today if it wasn't for some of the Nurses, Techs, Doctors, and Case managers who put so much into helping me. They have definitely showed me how it feels to be cared about in a world full of so much hate. Grateful of who I am today thanks to all there help.
