Ozark Center New Directions Residential

I've been to this facility myself..... and now a very very special person in my life has taken a step all on his own to go here and he has been only welcomed with open arms, support, kindness, and compassion. You make it what you want it to be as well. I give it 5 stars for them just having open doors to the suffering, and training everyone like a human being.

The lady that answers the phone at the inpatient part, is extremely rude!

When I search "Ozark Oaks" this is what comes up, so here's where I'll leave my review. I never stayed there or used the services. I worked there and saw how LaDawn treated employees and clients. At first things seemed amazing and she seemed like a really good boss. But its a front to get you in the door. Behind closed doors, the things she'd say about the clients and treat them like less than human because they were struggling and not doing as well as her. They take your whole check every month and then give you $30 allowance for an entire month. What is that going to buy? These people are treated like prisoners and it's the last thing they need. I was falsely diagnosed with the same thing another client had and the way she talked about the client and their "attention seeking behavior and their neediness". She made me feel ashamed to have it. I can only imagine how they felt after leaving her office. Don't trust this place with your loved ones. Sadly, most of them have state appointed guardians who have such a high client load they can't see the struggles these people are facing in her care. But if you are taking care of family or friends, please don't take them here. And if a guardian happens to see this, I encourage the same for you. One client I personally knew has thrived since leaving her and going to El Dorado Springs. It may be farther, but so much better care. I have to add. She has "psycho analyzer" as her profile nickname. I think that sums up who is taking care of your loved ones.

I went for detox I was the only woman in.. and all the guys that was their must have been court ordered because all they wanted to talk about was getting out and getting high.. they gave me so much meds that my blood pressure was so low they almost had to send me to the ER I stayed 3 days got on the phone called my mom and said come get me it was better to be at home by my self... DONT GO HERE

I called to get my meds refilled literally 5 times over the course of a month. Meds for depression and alcoholism and every time they said someone would get in touch with me and NOONE ever has. I literally BEGGED for help and noone cared. Waited for a month for the appt with the med doc and he didn't show up! Do they not care that for many people this can be life or death??

It,was horrible, bad food, dirty and not accessible for handicapped, no crafts or good reading material. Treated like a prisoner as a volunteer with nothing illegal pending or charged with a crime. Sad for uplifting support.

Community Specialist Sarah is the worst person ever. Lazy and acts like she doesn't have to work.
