Cox Medical Center Branson

This hospital is getting worse and worse after a cat scan I was told there was to much weed in my intestines and that my weed smoking was the cause of it even after them seeing the bruising and scratches from my fall I was also told there was blood in my urine but didn’t pee enough for it to get tested they did not say a word about my urinalysis but tried to make me feel like a junkie talking about the smoke in my intestines guess what smoke goes in your lungs and I haven’t even smoked!

Recently traveled to Branson for vacation and unfortunately needed to visit the ER. The experience from the registration desk to the outpatient pharmacy was great. The hospital was clean and private. The ER doctor (Dr Schmidt) gathered the information and developed a plan with us. He had the knowledge, experience, and compassion. The ER nurse Kirza and triage nurse Brian were friendly and intelligent. We even received a follow up call a few days later. I truly appreciated everyone there & feel very confident being under care at Cox medical.

I don't know why I come to this hospital. Their pain management is a joke. They let me suffer in pain because they only do the bare minimum. They're always under staffed.

Update: they scheduled my two appointments today while I'm sick and pregnant three hours apart knowing I travel to get here and now can't tell me when the ultrasound will be ready. 5 hours wasted. I promise the check up appointments are a waste of time. I wish I never showed up. Not to mention the poop on the toilet. They don't clean Update, had to get blood drawn I waited an hour and the nurse said they're running behind an hour after I already waited. So I left. It's unprofessional and makes no sense why they couldn't say anything sooner when they have a lobby full of people needing their blood drawn. I tried to reschedule and she wouldn't find a day for me where I'm off work. I'm highly annoyed. Got out of bed early morning to deal with this on my only day off.

I had my endometriosis exploratory surgery yesterday, and everyone who spoke with me was so beyond kind and helpful. They were all very communicative to my boyfriend about what was going on with me. Could not be more satisfied with my care at this hospital!

Worst and most distant yet sub par employees..nurses most of all..patients get the feeling that no one cares at all…I pressed my button and it took twenty five minutes to come to my room whe. They were chatting and laughing right outside my room…this is the last time me and everyone I know will go to cox in Branson..good riddance

Be careful of this place. They make automatic appointments for you without your consent. Then you have to spend your time correcting it.

The Drs and most nurses were great however the accommodations are awful. They expect sick people to share a room with someone and we can't even sit in our loved ones room. They have done procedures in the room on the other patient that makes the room reek of poop. The nurses are slow to get pains meds. You are told over and over again that there are emergencies happening and that is why they can't get to you. Also they proceeded to tell us that our loved one wasn't that sick over an over again. Why would they keep him for days if he wasn't that sick?
