I recently had a mental health crisis and stayed here for three days as a veteran. During my time there, I felt more focused on just getting through the experience than actually healing. The environment didn’t feel supportive, and I often felt overlooked when I needed help. To their credit, the staff did make sure I was connected with the VA so I could continue getting the care I needed after leaving. However, from what I personally observed, it seemed like some patients needed more specialized care than what this hospital was able to provide. Overall, my experience didn’t feel like it was centered on recovery, and I left feeling like the care was limited. If you’re dealing with a serious mental health crisis, I would strongly consider looking into other options if possible.

They keep sending me a bill even though it was workmans comp. Obviously I won't be paying but it does concern me how many people might be paying when they shouldn't be. Just another elaborate scam. Edit: in response to your reply I have contacted the hospital multiple times about this and at this point it's more your problem then it is mone

I had three BAD experiences here. Cut my foot and picked up an infection while there. Heart problem and doc said you had a heart attack, I said couldn't be, he checked again and said 'oh you're right'. CT of L5 where tech said 'classic compression fracture', radiologist read as completely normal, and I knew the truth was neither.

Don't come here if you're a woman. Stayed for a week and a half and they refused to supply me the birth control I've been on for TWO YEARS because they're a "catholic hospital." They told me to get someone from my home to bring up my pills but didn't care when I told them my home was three hours away. One of the doctors (I believe his name is Dr. Khan) even had the nerve to ask me "who is your partner" and I actually had to explain to a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL that I don't take it as a contraceptive because actually birth control has multiple uses... Then they also forgot to discharge me with my referral paperwork for outpatient services and the papers I came in with from the hospital I was transferred from (they confiscated it). Unbelievable. Zach from the 2nd floor psych unit is awesome though.

I went to the ER this week and was admitted and had a laparoscopic surgery this week, and the experience was fabulous. The hospital is not fancy, but the people who work there were fabulous, the nurses, the doctors, everyone was so wonderful I was overwhelmed by the care and love they gave me. I'm from NYC so I have very high standards for medical care, and this was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Bon Secours if you are in the unfortunate situation of needing medical care.
