Jackie Velasquez Is my counselor. I transferred from the Camden location to here. This facility and all of its employees are leagues more professional than the Camden methadone clinic. You can tell that they put An emphasis on one on one personal Interactions. They don’t just treat you as a number. I highly recommend coming here if you’re ready to make that change. Jackie has a warm smile, And is very eager to help. She has years of experience to help you with whatever you’re going through.

Listen, I am a total mess most of the time due to my catastrophizing things. I make everything start at worst case scenario hoping it doesn't stay there but unfortunately it sometimes does. Im not going to give you a play by play or some incredible testimony because my story is still going strong but I've come a very long way and I 💯 give my counselor, Susan, alot of credit for sticking by me even bk in the beginning when I would be nasty and childish towards her and ill never forget when she told me that she was just waiting for me to be ready. * full disclosure im a garbage head and at the time I needed rehab terribly. And she was so patient and calm n it drove me nuts. Until one day, I walked into her office and said im ready. And from that chair in her office I left for rehab right away thanks to a combined effort of the staff, Will a former employee but mainly through her approach over months. I've had several wonderful things happen since then but most importantly I finally won my 3 year battle with CPS and gained joint custody of my son back. Now, don't get it twisted, I am far from a shiney happy person now. I've got major struggles right now but ever since that day she can't get rid of me off her caseload. Mainly because secretly im her favorite.😄 but i won't let them switch me because Susan really does care about her clients and I am sure of it for many reasons. If Susan isn't you're counselor you're missing out. And because of her this center gets a 5 star 🌟 rating from me. Which, btw, NEVER happens.

When I first started I was rough but the program helped me. My counselor Jackie is really good she helped me so much… she real and cares!!!

Staff is awesome, always made me feel comfortable and new me by name first day. Hands down great place! The Dr's are even better very knowledgeable and caring!!

I had a few different counselors but once I got Jackie I've had her ever since and she is awesome very informative easy to talk to and open up too .,I also feel she truly does care about getting u clean and on the right path.

During my visit at the treatment center I was treated poorly and very degrading. Though I know it’s an evident reason why we are here to receive treatment however, I’m still human and deserve to be treated with respect as I too will exchange with mutual respect! In the midst of me giving an explanation after being asked questions I was talked over and disregarded by the Counselor Dawn. Her demeanor and attitude towards clients is very disturbing and distasteful while we are here to receive treatment we’re also the very ones that keep you employed here! I expect a counselor to be understanding, companionate & eager to help as to key word in her job description COUSEL! I do not come here to chastised or distracted for the decisions I’ve made in the past. I hope this review lands in the right hands of someone who can properly train the counselor’s to have empathy for their clients!

I have been coming to this clinic for a little over 2 years and I have had a great experience. Courtney, the security guard, does such an amazing job and makes me feel safe and makes me feel like I’m allowed to have boundaries. Which is so good for my mental health plus the small talk that I have with her has gotten me through depressed days that she might not even know of. Somebody just being nice to you for a second helps a lot I feel the same way about the nurses and the girls at the front Tanisha and I’m so sorry, but I forget the other girls name but they are amazing as well. McKenzie my counselor is also a great counselor and I’m so happy that I was matched with her because I feel like me and her are great match and we have an amazing connection and every time I leave her office I feel better not worse. so I only have good things to say about the methadone clinic here in Somerdale. The only thing is the driving company connected is not good and they lied about something I did so that’s my only complaint, but I still give this five stars.
