In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
The highest level of care, medically managed with 24-hour nursing and physician care in a residential or medically-based setting, and can include any combination of medication, counseling and therapy.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.
Absolutely the best rehab experience of many! Feels like home and a family they truly care and the program taught me a lot! Counselors are great! Has a professional music studio! Everything is upscale! Thank You so much Vanity

4/15/26: Some of the staff, nurses, and nurse supervisors are very unpleasant, non communicative, does not care for the well being of the patients and family concerns, and ect. Before transferring or bringing your love ones at this center please don’t bring them to this center. I would better off preferably bring them to Hackensack Meridian Health Hospitals were there the opposite and atleast have visitation hours every day. Edit: will be updating soon of the more dissatisfying behavior

Overall, the care given was amazing. Kevin, Shannon, Erica, Susan and Lisa are my Rock stars. They went above and beyond in their daily duties and showed true empathy and dedication to their duties on a daily basis. Tom on the other hand needs more training in human interaction and not being so confrontational in every interaction with patients. Just not a good fit for the environment.

My experience at Hampton Behavioral Health was special. I was captivated by the sharing. It led me to be more relaxed in sharing my mental health issues within the group setting. Looking forward to returning for more therapy on Monday. Thanks again.

DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!! I came here back in 2013 for outpatient. I left crying EVERY SINGLE DAY. The person that ran group yelled at me in front of all the other patients saying “you’re too young to want to kill yourself” humiliating me. I am now 25, happy, and healthy and none of this is to this place. Being in a better place now I can confidently say this place was awful and traumatized me more. Sad to see this place is still running and providing the same kind of care I got back in 2013.

A Family member got admitted into the Hamilton behavioral health. I feel this place is a joke! . My family member got threatened by another patient there and I called up and told them what happened and supposedly they knew nothing about it and they were going to investigate it. Who knows if it was ever investigated. All they do is lie lie and try to say that it's the patient. Run do not go to this place and please do not put your loved ones in there.

Scammers: Please do not bring your child here. My stepdaughter has borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, GAD. She’s violent, multiple suicide attempts, cuts up her body, shop lifts, has threatened to kill her family and herself on multiple occasions. Our insurance denied it because the doctor said she didn’t need this level of care (inpatient.) During her stay, we tried to work with our insurance to get her into a residential facility so she’d be safe and we would, too. Hampton was aware of this. They never told us it was being denied. If she wasn’t a harm to herself or others, why did they admit her? We received a $90,000 bill because she doesn’t fit the criteria. She was in the ICU for 7 days from an overdose. Multiple hospitals, IOP’s, police involvement for being abusive and leaving bruises. If she’s doesn’t fit the criteria, then who does? This is insane. They said she didn’t need around the cloak treatment, which is untrue. We were afraid she’d kill us or herself. They won’t put detailed information for the insurance company. It’s very vague. They should’ve put everything I mentioned above and agreed that she needs that level of care. They made it sound like this is her first time she’s doing this. After that stay, she was handcuffed and taken to the er again and hospitalized. I am disgusted and heartbroken because we already have enough stress on us. Go somewhere else if you have commercial insurance. You will be in this same position. I can’t believe we’re dealing with this.

I WAS THERE FOR 22 DAYS. THE FIRST TWO DAYS I WAS SCARE. AFTER THE THIRD DAY, I WAS JUST GETTING SO USED TO IT. OTHER PATIENTS HAD OTHER SITUATINS AND I LEARNED TO UNDERSTAND THEM. I HAVE NO COMPLAINT AND I WAS TREATED WITH RESPECT. AFTER I CAME OUT I WANTED TO GO OUT PATIENT FOR 3 MONTHS. I REALLY APPRECITED ALL THE STAFF. REALLY!
