With an average 64% symptom reduction, OCD Anxiety Centers Pleasanton offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for ages 8 and older struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, and related conditions such as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, and trauma. The 16-week program in the heart of the Tri-Valley provides three-hour sessions, Monday through Friday, offering a highly structured environment while clients live at home. Practice Makes Progress The program combines individual therapy sessions anchored in exposure and response prevention (ERP) with exposure and skill practice groups, specialty skills groups, process groups, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills groups. Family participation is valued, with members learning about OCD and anxiety, how to respond helpfully to symptoms, and strategies for supporting recovery after treatment. The 8:1 client-to-staff ratio ensures individual guidance, and a virtual IOP is available.
