Mindfulness meditation practices allow people to be present in their life experiences and are a primary teaching at Satori Recovery. All clients are instructed in the practice of meditation and are encouraged to experience conscious states of deep silence and surrender.The transformative effect of meditation greatly improves impulse control and frustration tolerance. Balance is achieved by waking up to the present moment, hence the name Satori, “Awakening”.
