Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. (TTC) is a nonprofit healthcare organization in the Los Angeles area that takes an integrated treatment approach to help clients with mental health disorders, alcohol or drug addiction, chiropractic care, dental car Support for Today and the Future TTC’s Tarzana location uses evidence-based and trauma-informed talk therapies with relapse prevention planning, family and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for addiction, and training on life skills like parenting, academics, and interpersonal care to help clients succeed and avoid relapse. After clients complete treatment here, they can access TTC’s recovery housing. Service for Clients 8+ TTC’s mental health care serves clients 8+, and their substance use treatment serves clients 12+. They have young adult programming for clients 18 to 23, veteran-specific care, and youth and family services that operate from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Recovery Care Offered

Residential

Residential programs for substance use and mental health with structured care and 24/7 monitoring. Treatment takes place on-site, with behavioral health professionals often providing care in group, individual, and family settings.

Day Treatment

In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.

Intensive Outpatient Program

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.

Outpatient

Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.

Licensed Primary Mental Health

Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.

I was in the youth program & the food was disgusting. Not every meal was bad though. The supervisors suck they sit in their office and gossip all day the kids new all the drama. Even when the supervisors would come to the dinning when staff was on breaks they just be on their phones gossiping. It was so weird but the staff was real cool Sherice was chill Aryka would hold you accountable for your shit which I liked Adrian let you do whatever you wanted Julie was sweet too. Overall staff cool you can tell they work there cause they care but supervisors need to go

My sister has visited the Tarzana Treatment Center multiple times, each visit offering comprehensive support as it is a fully integrated healthcare organization. They provide a wide array of services, including detoxification, therapy, and aftercare support, all tailored to individual needs. On her last visit, she was truly motivated to change her life, and the center's holistic approach played a critical role in her recovery. Now, she's thriving and doing exceptionally well. I would rate the experience 10 out of 10 for their dedication and effective treatment services. ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

It’s a good program. You need to be motivated. If you follow the rules and complete inpatient they can get you into one of their sober livings which is way better than the ones you pay for. They offer everything you need to be successful, MAT services, therapy, psychiatrists, nurses and meds. They’ll help you with anything you need, you just need a little patience.

Employees are disrespectful and don't bother helping the people who are trying to get better. They don't help with housing as they say . I wouldn't recommend it.

The supervisors were rude and most of the staff are rude too they don’t have any manners, they More strict with the rules with the girls than they are with the boys. Sometimes they take off your points without a reason. I would give this place a zero if I could. And there are only about 3 good staff that work there, that’s Anna,Adrian, and Milton.
