San Diego Detox and Residential

I came to San Diego Detox after a decade of struggle with substance abuse. After multiple attempts with different programs, multiple facilities, therapy, life changes, and failures. I could get some sober time on my own but nothing seemed to work permanently. Depression, anger and loss were constants. At SDD I found something different. The amenities are amazing, the staff is incredible and the group work sparked something new in my soul. Most of the staff is in recovery themselves. They provided real life experiences to help me navigate my own challenges and find a way to happier way of life that worked for me. I remembered how to laugh, have fun and learned new healthy outlets. My zest of life has truly returned. I came to physically heal my body safely. It turned out that was the easy part. I left with my soul being ignited with a new path to follow for a successful and fulfilling future. I wish everyone struggling with sobriety has the opportunity to find this special place to find their path to better way to live.

I was very satisfied with my stay at SDD. From the minute I spoke with someone on the phone, to the minute I left there I felt like there was true caring and compassion. All the staff were so friendly, I felt like part of a family there. And if there were any issues or needs, they were addressed promptly. The kitchen staff was top notch, and the menu was never boring. I really enjoyed the location and the buildings and grounds were beautiful, really like a 5 star resort. I would highly recommend San Diego detox to anyone who is looking for treatment with addiction. The program is easy to understand and there are many different activities to help with the process.

My wife had a slip after a couple years of sobriety and I know a couple people that are affiliated with SD Detox, Tommy and Hew. Tommy and Hew were such an inspirational component to getting Heather the help she needed and presented everything in a very supportive & compassionate way. While in SD Detox something shifted for my wife, she’s been in other programs in the past but there was something different about SDD. She was finally ready and in perfect timing was in the right surroundings for her to feel safe enough to let go and be vulnerable… She was able to get down to causes and conditions and as a result is a lot happier and more present at home and at peace within her new found Journey in sobriety. I can’t thank the team at SDD enough for everything! It’s amazing to have my wife back! 🙏😇💛🤟🫡

I’ve struggled with addiction for MANY years. Been in and out of rehabs over the past 10 years. I originally came to SDD for only a couple days. I ended up staying longer because for once I was getting the help I truly needed. The facility itself is incredibly comfortable. The staff and counselors showed how much they care. I was able to open up about a lot of my traumas, and received help specifically for them. If I had the means, I would’ve stayed longer. In fact, many of the group I was in did have the means and stayed longer. It just felt good to have an environment that allowed me to be open and honest, and without judgement. I’m incredibly grateful and thankful for SDD. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction.

San Diego Detox is a world class facility and a gorgeous spa-like campus filled with natural beauty that will restore your soul. Going there literally saved my life. The staff are out of this world and make recovery, which is awful, especially in the early days, a supported and positive experience of personal discovery, reflection, growth, and community. If you are searching for a place to heal, this is the place you should go. You will find amazing staff who support your health holistically to include your body, mind, and spirit, and helping you learn how to live life to the fullest in sobriety and recovery. 10/10 would recommend and cannot say enough good things about this program.

First time going to detox facility. I will say this facility is very staff very and caring they know what there doing. Structured with meeting my needs. I would 100% recommend!!!

The most amazing people work here the nurses the techs the director and admissions and counselors and therapist treated me like I was the only client and they treat everyone like that! The most wonderful place I’ve been I felt comfortable every single day they help you after the 30 days with a plan if you are suffering and need help please come here.

This detox in Lakeside, CA has everything you need. The amazing medical staff has all your interests/history/caring/24 hour needs, as their priority. There are so many therapist that teach you how to cope, expect and support for your next step. I am grateful for them all. Stefan was my favorite! Every word that came out of his mouth meant so much. I loved every one of his group classes Garson is extremely educated, a fabulous listener and I always looked forward to our sessions. The BAH’s were so kind and friendly. Ben is such a kind soul and so supportive to my recovery. Sadai and Michelle were amazing, helpful and kind to me and other clients. The facility was so beautiful. I am so blessed to have gone to this center. I can’t wait to go back and share my success story with 3 other beautiful ladies I met there. We have a group chat and text or speak daily.
