I’d give them no stars if I could. They do not care about you unless you’re paying. They will literally stop talking to you the second the payment stops. And if you’re an IOP, you get one therapist appointment a week, and they don’t tell you that until after you start. You’re stuck in a room with a person who doesn’t even know what IP is for six hours. You then go to a room which is 10 feet away, which is also the kitchen, and you sit there for another three hours with the same person doing the exact same thing all day, every day. It is not conducive for any mental health patient. It is counterproductive. If you want help getting a job, if you want help getting anything, you’re really gonna have to fight for it. For me, I couldn’t take it, and I got a job instead, and that was for my sanity after they made my schizophrenia worse. The therapists have no idea what they are doing. They’re not equipped to deal with schizophrenia or any other serious mental health condition. I honestly don’t even know why they would put you in an extremely small, overcrowded room with not enough chairs, so you end up standing or sitting on the floor. Why you would put someone in a group of people to just sit there and talk about the same thing every day, all every day. Unless you’re paying for inpatient, they could care less, and even then it’s still lackluster. This is the worst program I’ve ever been in. If you want a good program, you’re gonna have to go to Orange County where they actually care about you. I just got a call the other day from somebody, and it wasn’t even from somewhere I went; it was from somewhere I was wanting to go. It was from another medical clinic out here in Fresno, and they were just calling to ask to see how I was doing. I never even went there, but they still had the courtesy to ask me if I’m OK. Sierra Meadows didn’t even tell me when my insurance canceled the IOP. When I went to ask the intake coordinator, Anthony Petrucci, I got no response and have not gotten a response, and I’ve messaged him several times with different questions. You no longer exist to them. Do not go to this place. They do not care about you, and they are not equipped to deal with mental health, which isn’t uncommon in the Fresno area. Good luck to those of you who have to go there. I chose poorly. Keep in mind that I actually worked at a facility for two years after going there for 90 days for mental health. The staff at Sierra Meadows are a phenomenal and passionate group of people who are truly dedicated to helping those in need. They really do care about the well being of anyone who enters their program and I would highly recommend anyone seeking help for themselves or a loved one to get in touch with them.

5 stars – Truly Life-Changing Care I would not trust anyone else with my mental health care other than Sierra Meadows. From the moment I walked through their doors, I felt seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. The staff, clinicians, and management have cultivated a culture of compassion and professionalism that is rare to find. Sierra Meadows has an amazing staff of therapists that can help you navigate difficult life experiences, process your trauma, and learn coping skills. Their facility is beautiful, and they have so many activities and curriculum that can improve your quality of life.

I cannot recommend Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health enough! From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcomed, supported, and understood. The facility itself is warm, inviting, and calming, which made all the difference in my experience. The staff here are not only professional but also genuinely compassionate. 10/10

They provide inpatient and outpatient levels of care and their treatment facilities are staffed by professionals who truly care and want to support you. I have seen this facility go above and beyond for client care, and truly strive to have exemplary facilities and group therapy. We are lucky to have this resource right here in Fresno County:)
