Set in the Sorrento Valley neighborhood, San Diego Transformation Center treats adults with mental health disorders or drug addictions, and they have experience treating clients with common combinations like anxiety & benzodiazepine use, depression & alcohol use, and bipolar disorder & stimulant use. They also specialize in trauma treatment as a primary or co-occurring condition. Outpatient Treatment Offerings Their services are outpatient detox, day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP) care, and standard outpatient counseling. PHP lasts 5-6 hours a day for several days a week, IOP lasts 3 hours a day for 3-5 days a week, and outpatient treatment includes 1 or 2 50-minute sessions each week. Clients receive a personalized plan, not a template, and have the same care team members throughout treatment. To make treatment accessible, San Diego Treatment Center offers it at 3 times during the weekday: 9 a.m. to noon, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., or 6 to 9 p.m. They can also schedule weekend sessions for working professionals and students. Specialized Care for Women, Veterans, and LGBTQ+ San Diego Treatment Center aims to connect clients connect to others in similar circumstances and connect to the right community resources. For women, they have gender-specific groups that can cover relationship and trust concerns. For veterans, they can navigate VA benefits and TRICARE and help clients navigate experiences like combat, survivor’s guilt, assault, PTSD, and brain injury. For LGBTQ+ clients, they bring a staff informed on common LGBTQ+ experiences, safe spaces for expression, special group therapy. and connections to LGBTQ+ peer support resources.
