SDCTC is an outstanding facility that has profoundly impacted my journey toward recovery and may have saved my life. Navigating opiate addiction is incredibly complex, and attempting it without professional assistance can feel overwhelming. While I cannot speak to the Fashion Valley location, the Clairmont Mesa Blvd center, under the compassionate supervision of Amanda, has changed my perspective on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). I was skeptical about the idea of substituting one substance for another. However, I’ve come to realize that MAT allows you to rebuild your life without hitting absolute rock bottom. It provides a structured pathway to recovery while preserving the resources and relationships you still have. This approach ensures you don’t have to start from scratch when reclaiming your life. The staff at this location are exceptional. Nurse Blanca is empathetic and efficient during the dosing process, ensuring patients feel cared for and supported. The case manager is incredibly resourceful and dedicated, going above and beyond to connect me with the help I specifically requested. What truly sets this center apart is the shared understanding among its staff—many of whom have personally experienced similar struggles. This lived experience fosters a unique sense of trust and comfort, knowing that those assisting you genuinely understand your journey. If you’re struggling with addiction and find yourself at a crossroads—before reaching a place of desperation like jail, institutionalization, or homelessness—I highly recommend stopping by this center. The team here genuinely cares about your success and recovery. Writing this review is a testament to how strongly I feel about SDCTC’s positive impact on my life and wouldn't have spent the time writing this if I didn't stand by it. I hope this doesn't read like some DARE commercial, but it's like if you've experienced something that helps you it's important to share that answer with others....I’m just like anyone else, and maybe someone else needs to hear this, it does get better and it can get better quicker with people like this assisting you along the way. Take the hard way if you want to, but there are other options ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I wanted to express my deep gratitude to Gary Franks, one of the councilors at CTC for always being there for me. Not only does he understand my situation, he also listens to me and gives me advice tailored to my issues that is useful in my personal & professional life. I've never used a program like this prior to my enrollment with CTC. Gary made me feel comfortable, safe and not only do I trust him, I also consider him one of my most trusted supportive allies. 5-Stars!!!! I wish I could say the same about some of the others in their office. Gotta take the good with the bad.

Hi My name is Britni Waldron, I have been going to this clinic since 2021, And Have been clean since 2021, I would like to give thanks to the clinic and Gary Franks my counselor Garry has been a huge part of my recovery every time we have a session i hear what i need to hear, I really appreciate he clinic as a whole i have completely changed my life around for the better do to the support of staff and my counselor Gary Franks!!!

I gave CTC 5 stars because they have vastly improved during my two years there. They used to be horrible, but not anymore. Gary Franks is my counselor and he's the best. He understands me and listens to what I have to say. He has helped me a great deal by giving me plenty of things to work on to help me become a better person. CTC is really lucky to have Gary because he cares about his job and his clients. My hats off to him! Thanks CTC for giving me a better life that I am deserving of. Best regards, Derrick

Always fast to answer any questions, the people look you in the eye when speaking to you, very helpful if you need someone to help with other issues or help you find a resolution for any issue. I felt like there was genuin care and concern. The facility is clean and kept looking nice. I've never been looked down upon or made to feel like lesser person due to my issues and they also helped me 100 percent with said issue. I recomend... this place for sure. Thank too

I have been coming to ctc for a few years now and I have to say the staff is on top of there work the dosing nurse is always super nice and helpful and also by coming here I have learned to stop using and maintain sobriety for longer than a year now. I also think the counseling on a regular basis helps alot my counselor gary is awesome I've been able to connect and learn alot so thank you ctc for everything 😀
