The Oaks House Sober Living

my mom is apart of the oaks sober living house and has done so much good for her. So far the ladies seem nice and welcoming and my mom has made a second home and family here.

This has been the most loving and supportive family orientated home I've ever had the privilege of living in. Jim and luciana dedicate their time in coming to meetings with us and getting to know each of us personally.

The oaks is a very structured establishment that helps you get clean of your truly want it. It’s great place. Very family oriented.

The oaks is a very family oriented. The people there are very loving welcoming and makes you feel like home away from home. The owners are wonderful people. They genuinely care for their team and the people that stay. They really make it come together as a beautiful recovery family. The experience there has taught me how to love myself as well as love other people again.

My experience at Oaks was very pleasant. It made my stay for 90 days enjoyable while getting treatment. Everyone there was so nice and helpful and understanding, and the facility is beautiful. I couldn‘t have asked for a better place to get treatment. I‘ve gained friends from there I will keep in touch with. Oaks, you will forever live in my heart for all you‘ve done for me.

They really do try to get you on the right path unless u miss the van for your program like I did which was the first thing I had been late to or mistake I had made period. Then u will be cursed like a dog. No bs extremely unprofessional and the house I was in was worse than any place I have ever stayed in addiction, u can't set a drink down for 2 min or it will be covered in ants and there are so many rats we cought one in a rat trap with no food on it. Half the sinks don't work, the cabinets are falling apart, the refrigerators which are outside are infested with rats under them, the jacuzzi has no heat pump on it and there pool is never cleaned. There are a lot better programs I recommend ALPHA RECOVERY there awesome. But wherever u go good luck and God bless I hope u make it!

I was at the Oaks for 9 months . They help me learn to live again. Through the 12 steps and AA I now have a new life that is full of gratitude. I would not have left but I had to get back to my family so they could see the change in my whole attitude and out look on life. I've never heard of any other place that took the time to see where I was in my recovery. I now have 411days sober i still go to AA and am a sponsor

I came in to The Oaks House lacking direction in my life. I knew I had a purpose, but I didn’t know how to go about realizing my purpose. Through their family-oriented atmosphere, powerful 12-step format, and structured programming, I now have a full grasp of my purpose in life; and that is to make recovery my number one priority. I learned to build my life around recovery, and show others how to do the same, and I am well on my way to being the best, most successful version of me that I dared to dream of. I owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to Jim and Luciana Coburn, and the Program Director, Matheus Alves, for giving me a powerful direction in my life, and the tools I need to see it through.
