This is the first time I have ever wrote a bad review but THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. I had a loved one go there and so many things went wrong, too much to write. IT IS A SCAM . THEY just want your money. That’s all you need to know! She was completely scammed being so vulnerable for help! They know this. Read all the bad reviews and don’t send your loved one there. She got a bad vibe as soon as she got there! I picked her up. We will be contacting the number that was there on a a pamphlet to complain. I REPEAT do not got there or send your loved one there.

I was here a year and a half ago and think I might have come In contact with ecoli and cdiff I was sent to pinelands in Medford after my stay here and I am very sick now. If any one else has experienced this with there stay here comment on your experience if any.

This place was beautiful. Pyramid& John Brooks ain’t got nothing on this place I can tell u that much . Staff is great , rooms are clean n beautiful (housekeeping did great work ) appreciate them . Food was good too and the unlimited chocolate iced cream I was eating 🤣and I was allowed to vape in there yasss lol but fr though it was a good 7day stay there (even though I was ready too go by day 4 bc I couldn’t wait to get out n see my bestie and start my new chapter ) HIHHLY recommend

Sad to say, but I’ve been to a lot of top of one places California all over but sunrise has always been there for me. Just great people that work there set you right up with aftercare. Food is delicious. Always have a Counsler to go talk to Also get to watch YouTube in the room when not busy

DO NOT PAY BY CHECK ! In March 2025 I Wrote a very large personnal check for a private pay stay prior to admittance. It was deposited electronically. 2 months later they deposited the check again. Tom’s River facility states they do not do any billing. So they couldn’t help me. Praesum Healthcare in Florida is the owner of them and many other facilities. After many calls, most of which are not answered, they finally admitted they deposited my funds twice. That is considered fraud. As of October, I have not received any funds back. In August of 2025 they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The place is mismanaged, they constantly run out of toilet paper, have no towels and sometimes have no food for new arrivals. The rules are always changing witch confuses staff and patients, they let patients leave then come back high or drunk ive never seen that before in my years. Although the staff are all very kind and caring they are underpaid and overworked there are many options in New Jersey for detoxes, rehabs that are better Managed and fit..
