Tikvah Lake Recovery

The experine here has truly saved my life and given me a new perspective on who I am and who I want to become. This place is top-notch luxury treatment, but more importantly, it’s filled with people who genuinely care. Alice, my primary therapist, has been incredible. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything—she tells the rigorous truth, and all the work I’ve been doing has been with her guidance. She’s exactly the kind of therapist you need if you actually want to change. Bryon is another standout therapist. His open groups are amazing—he gets it, he connects, and you walk away from his sessions actually learning something that sticks. The concierge team is unmatched. Diane and Victoria are hands-down the best in the world, and I can’t forget Hailey. They handle medications and breakfast every morning and do it with real love and care—you feel it. Cassandra also makes sure all medications are handled smoothly and correctly. JR, the night security, is hilarious and such a comfort. When you can’t sleep, those late-night conversations make a real difference. Every Wednesday, Sonya comes in for massage therapy, and it is next level—so relaxing and restorative. Raphael, the housekeeper, goes above and beyond, even making animals and roses out of towels and toilet paper. It’s the little things like that that make this place special. Chelsea and Ivy always go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. I love cigars, and Chelsea literally went to a legit cigar shop and hooked me up with premium cigars—above and beyond. Ivy takes me to church, and her faith truly flows from the heart. Cory is the backbone of the operation. He makes sure everything runs properly and that everyone gets what they need. Zack and Rob handle intake and insurance like true professionals and make the process smooth from start to finish, including aftercare planning to get you into the right PHP or IOP. The Clinical Director, Katherine, oversees everything and keeps the operation running efficiently. She definitely cracks the whip—in the best way—because things get done and on time. The wellness offerings are incredible. I start my mornings meditating in the hot tub, jump in the pool, and get ready for the day. I end my evenings with a soak and a stoogie. Tom’s meditation sessions are straight-up zen. Tami makes sure you get your steps in with refreshing walks. There’s a solid gym, plus sound meditation and yoga with Rosa, which are amazing. If I had one small complaint, it would be the quality of dinners—but honestly, I’m used to DoorDash, so that’s minor. There’s no riff-raff here. You need a PPO insurance plan or some cash stacked to get in—but that’s part of what keeps this place so special. This is, hands down, the best residential treatment center in Florida. If you seriously need help, a mental reset, or to get back on the wagon, Park Manor is where it starts. This place will always have a piece of my heart. Thank you to everyone at Park Manor. Truly.

I am currently a "guest" here at Tikvah Recovery. If you watch the videos, they prefer to refer to us as "guests'" in their home, which is exactly how I feel. EVERYTHING stated and pictured on their website is entirely true. This facility is not only top of the industry standard, it is top of most living standards, not just addressing our needs as they arise but waiting on us in ways fit for the movies. Not sure what the reviews are referring to, but the food is fabulous. Chef Ralph is an executive chef with two culinary degrees plus his own catering business. They cater to all diets and take everyone's needs seriously. If you read the bios, everyone is absolutely or more qualified than posted. They have 3 homes, so the registered nurse goes to all 3 as needed throughout the day and is always available through text or phone call to address any concerns until she is able to promptly see us. While all the counselors I feel are suited professionally and experienced in all drugs and alcohol, my experience is that instead of focusing on the drug or alcohol, which is discussed and addressed, it is focused on healing the person, inside and out, with a holistic approach. They take moving forward, living and enjoying life happy SERIOUSLY... absolutely! All their qualifications as a center are appropriately displayed on the wall as well. I have been to probably over 20 recovery centers in the past 20 years and this facility absolutely stands alone not just in it's class but the things thought and learned here are definitely personal as well as different from any other. For those who may have a dislike or love for 12 step programs this program is for you. This year I had lost hope in recovery centers and rehabs. The 12 step programs I felt were no longer enough though I felt I was really doing everything in my power to work the 12 step program. At Tikvah, they don't have you work "the program", they meet with you to develop "your personal program." Others may say that, but they truly do it. There are always 6 people or less at 2 of their houses, so the 1 and 1 care is truly unmatched. I won't call the therapies or groups "outside the box" for thinking I may scare you, but they help put a new perspective on all aspects of recovery, whether you are new to it or an "old timer", or "chronic relapser." Here we are all equal, deserving individuals who get truly personalized, individual care daily it the most comfortable setting possible so that we may move forward in life and develop our own solutions, plans and program to live the best life possible. The CEO and Founder has actually come to visit and speak to us. Though we had no complaints, they truly wanted our feedback. These people know their power and really care. My stay is is 6 stars, not 5 and epic, not great!

Elsa my therapist changed my life and showed me I was worth more than what I was doing. She was an amazing listener and one of the best therapist I’ve ever had. I don’t even have the words to say how much of an impact she was on me. The first employee I met Ivy paved what my stay was going to look like she was absolutely wonderful. Diane was the biggest sweetheart I’ve ever met in my life she literally held me in her arms as I cried and it felt like my mom holding me. Nila was amazing as well! I truly have nothing bad to say about my stay there. Catherine has a personal investment in each and everyone who comes through those doors. I am blessed to have gone through this program and thank you for not giving up on the trainwreck I was when I walked through those doors. Tikvah changed my life.

I will preface by saying I was far from perfect when I arrived at Tykva. I had my struggles. I would research before going here for opiates. I was there July 2025. I am a health care professional that has worked in hospital and Skilled nursing homes..ect so I have some medical knowledge. I chose to get off of a prescribed medication and I chose Tykva. Dana, and Chelsea, were wonderful and Ivy although , new very caring. as well. Psychologist's, Byron and Jimmy were excellent. Chef , Ralph was sweet , smart and so very talented! He made me beautiful salads and beautiful meals as I am vegetarian. Now for the not so good: Staff introduced a NP as "Dr. Wendy". With all due respects, you are NOT a DR. ! I was prescribed 4mg MORE Subutex than my script for 8mg. I finally had to request to speak with Dr Davidoff who's online video says he will talk to any patient. Nope. Neither he nor his CEO son were available according to Zack. I finally requested a consult with Dr .Toledo, Medical Director who looked at my meds and agreed the taper was NOT correct . So I was tapered off a prescribed opiate, Subutex, that I had been on 13 yrs.in 6 days the last week of my stay. Try that for fun.!!! I received Visteril, an antihistamine ,for withdraw. I still feel withdraw and I'm home several days. All that money I spent with me needing to tell staff about Clonidine for withdraw and to decrease high blood pressure. ect I do appreciate them letting me bring my cats.. truly my pets gave me so much peace. Nowhere else would allow my cats. I'm very grateful to have had them there with me. I FINALLY got a seasoned nurse after two other nurses....Cassandra, you are a jewel! Thank you Cassandra for being there for me. Now Cassandra can call herself a nurse.! Excellent! She checked on me several times, adjusted meds for Clonidine and stopped by my last day to check on me. I'm SO grateful for her. Katherine posted signs all over house to call her in need of anything. I called at 8:45 one eve , but she goes to bed at 9 pm so did not reply. She also does not work weekends. NO nurse there in house after 9pm. No one but a night watchman. If you are going through withdraw and need med's ..forget it. NO NURSE AT NIGHT. For UTI I was sent to hospital for 6 days! No walk in clinic..Off I went to Hospital. Katherine recommended IOP to me at end. I have proof with IOP's calling me saying that Tykva recommended IOP. I have these conversations recorded on my phone after asking for consent to record. Then , after speaking with my brother , Katherine changed recommendation to PHP ..without telling me.! I was emailed PHP recommendation ..but she and I had just conversed via telephone and I had been assured "least resrictive IOP" I was too ill to open computer and read she had changed recommendation. There were 3 patients in house.. THREE. They OVERDOSED one woman with 4x antihistimine med she needed and she hallucinated all night! THREE PATIENTS ! Tykva appeared to do well with alcohol. Others were very satisfied. I would recommend doing your research. The Dr. of acupuncture was wonderful! Miguel who did massage are AWESOME! It is a lovely place in SO many ways ..with caring Concierges, a great Chef, beautiful amenities, boat rides on a lovely lake..excellent psychologist's A few tweaks and it would be awesome. Once again , thank you to staff mentioned who were honest and wonderful to me.

My time at Tikvah Lake wasn't just a recovery journey; it was a profound transformation. I feel compelled to share and the positive aspects of this experience, which reframed my entire understanding of substance abuse, addiction, and personality disorders. Before Tikvah Lake, I saw my struggles only as weaknesses. The program taught me to see my life differently. I now understand that my addiction was not a moral failing, but a misguided solution. It was my brain's attempt to cope with pain, trauma, and overwhelming emotions that I had developed throughout my life. My time at Tikvah Lake helped me to develop a level of self awareness, resilience, and coping skills that I never would have possessed otherwise. The staff at Tikvah Lake approached my underlying personality challenges with compassion and expertise. They helped me see that my traits, like my the intense emotions, the patterns of thinking and relating, were not lifelong sentences to misery. Instead, they are a set of challenges that, when understood can be managed. From the great food, beautiful lake, the Florida sun, a personal trainer, massage therapist and very good professional therapists, counselors and support staff, they provided a peaceful and safe place that was essential for me to open up and do the hard work that I needed to do to heal. This program wasn't just about talk therapy. The program helped me build a toolbox for life, not just sobriety. Oh, did I mention that I am a professional and the program also gave me the time and freedom to do the professional work that I still needed to do while I was there. If you or a loved one are struggling, know that there is not just hope on the other side, but a truly vibrant and fulfilling life. Tikvah Lake will help to guide you there.

I have been to many rehabs and this one by far has been the best I have ever experienced. From admission to after care the staff at Tikvah and Park Manor have went above and beyond for both my wife and myself. The space was immaculate and peaceful. All of my basic needs were taken care of so I could focus on my recovery, relationships, and spiritually. Every single staff member took the time and care to impact my life positively and will not soon be forgotten. I want to make a special mention to Zach, Katherine, Roosevelt, Deandra, Diane, Donielle, and Jimmy. We were able to do family counseling for my wife and I with Jimmy and he helped us to work through our relationship to foster the love and move past our resentments. I was able to develop my personal recovery plan and I left feeling prepared and full of gratitude. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Anyone I love that struggles with mental health or addiction this would be my choice for them with out a doubt. I can't thank them enough.

The best recovery center I’ve ever been to!!! They helped me change my life in the most positive way! The groups, the therapists, the clinical team, the directors & assessment team & a special shout out to the concierge team, who are with you through & through. The group we were there with will be friends for life as well. I can’t say enough about Lake Tikvah & Park Manor recovery! Go there & have a life changing experience!
