Just a money making business that does not really care about its patients or their families. Its an expensive vacation where patients go and play beach volleyball, work out, go shopping, go on trips, and hang out at the beach. It is co-ed and the staff does not appropriately supervise. Despite being against the rules, co-ed patients are allowed to sleep with each other and staff will provide overnight passes for patients to go off together overnight. Total joke.

When I needed help, I turned to First Responder Wellness. They made sure that my needs were met. The staff was always professional and caring. I commuted to them for about 65 days and as a result I found the path of recovery from a work related stress injury. It’s been 3 years, and although I sometimes have symptoms related to the injury, the are way more manageable and my life has gotten so much better. Thanks FRW folks !!!

The people that go here just treat it like a fancy vacation. Its coed and everyone there is just hooking up with one another and cheating on their spouses at home. The facility facilitates this and provides passes to people to go on overnight trips with each other to mess around. They spend their time at the beach, Disneyland, the zoo, playing games, shopping and having a great time. The staff does not keep a close enough eye on the people that go here nor do they care about the devastation being caused to the families at home. Its just a giant money making business. The people who go dont take it seriously and the staff dont take it seriously.

I had the privilege of attending the Wellness Coordinator Class in North Las Vegas from May 5th to 9th, and it was truly phenomenal. As the Peer Support Coordinator for a Police Department, I only wish this class had been available when I first stepped into this role four years ago. The Counseling Team delivered an incredible program filled with invaluable insights and actionable strategies. They provided a comprehensive blueprint for building or enhancing a wellness program that truly works—something every agency needs. In fact, this class should be mandatory for all First Responder Agencies developing a wellness program. The three instructors were not only knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about the subject matter. Their engagement, authenticity, and commitment to our success were evident in every session. We all walked away with an abundance of tools, ideas, and renewed purpose. I'm incredibly grateful for the guidance and support we received throughout the week. We also had the pleasure of working with First Responder Wellness as a resource when we had staff in need of their services. Their Admissions and Outreach team are incredible. They are in constant contact with you to ensure your co-worker is taken care of. They are professional, efficient and true advocates for all who enter their facility.

Jeff put together a great team of speakers and resources at a very nice venue. The hard work and dedication that he has and continues to bring to help with First Responder Wellness is amazing.

FRW is a culturally competent organization to help first responders navigate PTS. I would not be where I am today without their help in assisting me with empathy and tools to navigate forward. We do hard things! 🦬

I spent 70 days in this program. Didnt wanna be there for 7 mins. I finally came around and settled in and it literally saved my life. Tom was a vital part of getting me in there and helping along the way. Chris Logan and his staff are the best in the business. FRS completely reset my cognitive behavior and I’m forever grateful for all of them. There is a lot I can write about and all the friendships made and fun had during my stay. It took me several years to get to a place where I knew I needed help and I’m a proud to have been thru this program, I’m better than I’ve ever been. Jim bayley

Just completed the 3 day Alumni retreat in Idyllwild. Unbelievable experience to say the least. I’d recommend any alumni from FRW to strongly consider attending this event in the future. Great way to stay connected with the FRW community and reinvigorate your recovery.
