Transitional housing designed to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders offering a safe, supportive and structured environment for practicing long-term sobriety, while reintegrating back into daily living.
In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.
Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.
Some primary care providers offer mental health diagnosis and treatment. This can prevent patients from developing more serious conditions.
Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.

When I walked into NSR’s doors, I hated it because I hated myself! I did NOT want to go back to treatment a 2nd time due to the guilt and shame I carried so my pride kept me fighting every inch of change. I was filled with excuses that I thought were good enough reasons not to stay in the program but God has used NSR to show me how valuable my life is! I was a minister for over 15yrs, preaching 11mo out of the year and then I worked in treatment running IOP groups but after my relapse, I was broken and lost but my therapist Brady has a special gift of breaking down what values are and that is what I needed! I’ve learned that it’s OK to just be me for who I am without any titles in front of my name. The staff at NSR loved me when I couldn’t love myself! Dannie listened to all 100 reasons I had to leave but loved me without even knowing me, Brady listened to my brokenness and showed me ways to build a solid foundation. Thalia showed me how to create healthy behaviors along with reinforcing them that didn’t include punishing myself because that what we do when we try to get sober, Diamond encouraged me to share my passions in a class where I preached a short sermon because that’s what I’m best at, Cara and Jacob are amazing and last but not least, my BHT Austin is the man! I spent most of my time with Austin and he is the best BHT that really does care! I walked out of NSR on 5/15 not just sober but as a man who has a desire to live life and be a father again! I now get to re-author my life with authenticity! Thank you NSR for everything!

I am completing N.S.R. Today. For some one who has been to 4 states and more treatment programs then anyone I know. I can honestly say N.S.R. is hands down the best I have been too. All the the staff genuinely care, there compassion and effort towards excellence is beyond reproach. Special thanks to De-Jaun one of the techs, who went above and beyond for more countless times. An always told me what I needed to here. I'd also like to thank Steven and Reed for giving me not one two but three chances. I could not finish this without thanking my therapist. She had a very unorthodox way of helping, her heart was in the right place the whole time. An in the end I left my house with a much more positive relationship with the men I lived with. Love and Light.

I graduated from the program and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking to better themselves. I still use what I've learned here to get thru daily life as a sober person. The staff is AWESOME! I didn't meet even 1 staff member that didn't truly care about me. I'm thankful for staff, medical, and the clients that all helped me thru the process off getting sober. My advice to anyone attending...STICK IT OUT. It works.

Lesson 1. A client engaged in prior protected activity at Northsite treatment and staff retaliated with threats. Stay tuned!

As someone who has been to treatment centers and worked at treatment centers, NorthSight cares the most. The services are far above and beyond what most places provide.

If you look at the reviews they are of people who refer there, not actually use their services. The majority of the pictures are of Tempe Town Center, NOT THEIR PROPERTY OR SERVICES! You will only see those in passing once a day. The few patient reviews are horrible. I was sent here after detox and the house was absolutely horrible. The majority of the food was expired, so ended up eating chips or frozen pizza. You spend hours a day in cars being shuffled around, while the driver plays music that is about drinking or doing drugs. The days I was there I had about 3 hours a day (spread out) before it was time for bed. Absolutely no fellowship of any kind between patients. I went from a fantastic place, to this place, so I saw what good, proper, and compassion residential can be. I had to move due to insurance and I was so sad. Stay away, pick another location that doesn't mislead and leave you in a place that you will regret.

I remember when I first was told where I was going. I was in Detox and before admitting myself into Detox, I didn’t care if I lived or died. I was on the verge/path of total destruction. I’ve been to many facilities throughout my journey, but this place has given me a reason to look “Into” myself and acknowledge that a lot of people my pain wasn’t my fault and from that I’ve been able to move forward with my life in my own journey to a much more peaceful and supportive environment within the Northsight Community that allowed me to dig deep within myself and be the best version of myself that I’ve ever experienced. It didn’t matter where I was from, what I’ve done or who I was associated with, but what I wanted to do about my future. This begins and ends with me. I owe a lot to the Staff, Housing Techs, the Therapists and of course my peers for believing in me until I was able to believe in myself. Northsight is a wonderful Community and if We as addicts give ourselves a chance, We can become Successful beyond measure.
