I'm very satisfied with the staff every one is very nice 👍🙂 and I like the nurse's and the counselors ms shakeria and the phlebotomist she is a great person I am glad that I came here to get help and I changed my my life for the better it was a long hard road trip to battle and today I can think clearly and maintain my life thanks so much to the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Nursing staff went out of their way to help. They were courteous, professional and made a confusing situation easier to navigate. I am grateful.

The nurses are great here. They treat you with respect as long as you give it to them in the same manner. The counselors on the other hand are pot luck. You just have to hope you get one that's been in your shoes And knows how things go out here in the world of addiction. Some have attitudes that really need to be addressed by the management. I can single them out but that would make me just like them. Oh update on Spencer I spoke to soon. I just feel sorry for the clients that get the bad ones and you see them being brought to tears because of the way they are treated. May God be our judge and know one else. AMEN!!!

MY NAME IS HANNAH COHEN I'VE BEEN COMING HERE TO THE METHADONE CLINIC FOR THE PAST 2 YRS NOW & I HAVE HAD THE WORST COUNSELOR'S IN THE WORD .. HOWEVER ON A GREAT NOT THE NURSES THAT WORK HERE HAVE BEEN MORE THEN EXCEPTIONAL , IN EVERY GOOD WAY . I HONESTLY WOULD RATHER TALK TO THE NURSES & BOUT 3 OTHER COUNSELOR'S THAT WORK & I MEAN WORK DAMN HARD TO KEEP ME HANNAH COHEN ON MY TOES. NO 1 , I MEAN NO 1 ,HAS THE RITE TO MAKE ANY 1 FEEL UN INPARTANT OR TO JUDGE ANY 1'S RELATIONSHIP GOOD & OR HOW MEST UP OR BAD THAT IT IS . SOME COUNSELOR'S SHOULD E LET GO & OR FIRED , FOR THE WAY THEY TALK TO OTHER PATIENTS.... GOD IS MY ONLY JUDGE .

I went there in the 90s and it was amazing place tomorrow I will be going back there because I’m tired of sick this addiction is a job in itself. You can’t hold a job because if you don’t have the bags for work you can’t get out of bed I have totally lost myself and I’m tired of being lost. Tonight it’s Easter Sunday. So as Jesus Christ rose on the third day I will rise back to myself and take care of myself and I will not be a prisoner anymore. So I am hoping that the doctor is there tomorrow

I’m over a year clean and sober currently and thank goodness doing well currently. However I need to warn people about the American addiction centers. Never trust them and don’t send anyone there to get help especially if the person who needs help is neurodivergent or is going through other challenges in life that have nothing to do with their addiction. I was scapegoated and falsely accused and mistreated by staff multiple times. I went to one of their treatment centers called Laguna treatment hospital with another person who I had a healthy relationship with and we went there to get help together so we could live a sober and clean life together after treatment. When I was there I was put on suboxone which is a normal medication to use to safely detox someone from opioids but unfortunately the nurse prescribed too much of the medication and I ended up overdosed and then after reviving me I got sent to the emergency room. When I came back I found out I was falsely accused of using fentanyl when there was no fentanyl in my system and the nurse at the treatment center did a drug test and there was nothing but suboxone in my system. I was lied to by the staff and they said that my partner gave me fentanyl which is a absolute lie. They would not have kept him there if he did that regardless. I was unjustifiably kicked out on the street and lost contact completely with the person I really cared about and could have had a bright future with if I didn’t get messed over by this treatment program. This treatment program and the staff almost killed me and blamed me for their actions to cover up the horrible things they done. I also get calls from American addiction centers to fallow up and today when I called the person back that was fallowing up with me I was abruptly hung up on for absolutely no reason whatsoever. The person who called to fallow up was named nick and I am very disappointed in how over all I was treated. There are many other reasons why I am saying don’t send anyone to this place. They only care about money and they don’t treat patients well at all. They ignore real issues and take a easy way out instead of being fair and reasonable. They charge massive amounts of money for treatment and keep harassing people to pay even if the person is clean but still doesn’t have money to pay.the staff are selfish and impatient and don’t care about the people they are supposed to be helping get better. There is a big problem with falsely accusing people and kicking them out for things they did not do and for things that are the facilities fault not the parents fault. The staff and place refuse to take accountability for almost killing me in my worst moment of my life when I went to the American addiction centers to get better not to get worse. Even though I am stable and clean and sober for over a year now I still have a spot in my heart that is damaged and broken that I am still recovering from and probably never fully will heal from unless accountability is taken on the places part. I have nightmares from what happened to me at Laguna treatment hospital and the mistreatment made my c-ptsd that I already have when I went for help worse. I cry 😭 still to this day and I just don’t understand how a place that is supposed to help people could be this cruel and disgusting to people at their worst points in life. It’s selfish and horrible to not take accountability for what happened. I hope someday this place gets the consequences they deserve for what they done to me and probably many other people. Please what ever you do never ever send anyone to any of the American addiction centers locations.
