I will rate Chrysalis House based on when I was there and when it was being ran by different staff and Mrs Carisaa was there. Other than that I can not speak for the program after Mrs. Carissa left. When I was there it was tough but it is what i needed. I have never been to a program that actually cared and literally internally got to me dug up some buried issues and I worked on them. Mrs. MELVINA was my counselor, she was amazing. Most of the staff had went through addiction. Mrs Denise was amazzziiinnggg i never felt uncomfortable, leaving my son with them during the day. The whole staff at that time was amazing. Yes, it was very strict, but they did it in a loving way because they did not want us to die. I know countless women That graduated the Chrysalis House and are still clean. I have ten fifteen, close lifelong friends that I had met at Chrysalis and that are still clean to this day. I have never went to a treatment that had this much success. Like I said, I cannot speak for the new staff, but it sounds like it is still a great program.While I was there and before I left, they were building on the new addition which was beautiful.It was finished before I left but was not open yet. A woman and children's program is needed and I hope that this one is ran as good as it was when I was there.I'm sure it is. I felt so safe with my children. I'll forever be grateful for Mrs. Carissa and all the staff.

Im currently a patient here and I hate this place the staff is so so rude they dropped my level and embarrassed me in front of other woman then they always threaten me with cps and took my phone away for a week because I was caught with a vape first off it wasnt mine! I cant wait till me and my baby gets out of here if I could give zero stars I would!

They are control freaks here they charge patients money for pharmacy copays and if you dont pay it thet take away your privileges no cigarettes no packages that family sends there very selfish with this!!!

I give this place 2 stars I would they are the worst my aunt sent ma a amazon package with diamond paintings and they told me i had to pay them $3 for pharmacy copay or i wouldnt be allowed to accept my package I wasnt working had no money! I had to ask someone for money they are horrible here and you cant have a cigarette break if you dont pay pharmacy copay! On top of this is i was told I had to buy a stamp and envelope to write my family!! Do not come here its the worst residential treatment facility ive ever been too!!! I seen the post on fb this lady wrote and came to also share my experience thank you for allowing me to share!!! There was a few staff members that was really nice and caring and encouraging and I thank you I learned alot in order to stay clean i seen the owners response on another post saying they do not engage in pharmacy copays please ask all the patients because they 10000000% do and the staff there abuse there authority and I believe they scammed us for the copays our insurance is suppose to cover everything while we're in a facility

I was someone who stayed here for so time almost a year. I know you can't please everyone but they did try to. Most of the residential staff was wonderful very attentive to the clients needs. The two that I felt that went beyond their job was Simone and Melissa I felt very safe and comfortable w them and they are some of the most compassionate, caring staff I have come across I truly believe they are at their job not only for a paycheck but to help. Thank you to all the residential staff. The clinical team here is beyond amazing I am actually lost for words how much the team does. They are all very passionate about their job and they make u feel welcomed and safe . I honestly believe if you are willing to chose recovery Chrysalis House will and can help 💯
