Be ready to be put back on the streets after your 30 days are done if you have nowhere to go. Everyone working there is miserable except Alex who unfortunately wasn't my loved ones councilor. The workers are lazy and everything they say their going to do with your loved one is tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow and never gets finished. Paperwork after completion was wrong. My loved one was on Subutex and they said on paperwork was on nothing. You have to be on top of them here or forget it. Everyone blames the other worker as to why things weren't finished correctly or procrastinated. The roof is leaking , although food is amazing , level of care needs big time adjusting. Lady at front desk is so rude and yelled at me because after I rang the bell she was supposedly letting me into facility but I didn't know so came to the door and greeted me with ... I'm trying to let you in but your not coming in. She never told me she was letting me in. Her face was miserable and she was extremely hostile to me . Workers leave early so things never got done . My loved one was on a list for another place waiting list after this place in which the councilor said can stay there until the next place was available, that was a lie !!! She went on vacation and when 30 days was up Boom... Loved one had to leave so they lied. I wanted to speak to her as to why she said my loved one could stay until bed was available, Conveniently she was on vacation and couldn't be reached when their on vacation. I tried calling the CEO, whom lived in Brooklyn,NY got nowhere as she was also on vacation. Then the director saying the councilor must have been mistaken saying they could stay til next place was available. They all blame the other. Needless to say they don't care about the safety after the 30 days is up. Wanted to put my loved one back to the homeless shelter he came from before the 30 days and we all know that's not safe , relapse is inevitable!!!!! Just want the money . As we were leaving we seen the next patient arriving who I felt bad for knowing after 30 days will look the same way he looks now arriving to go back to the streets. Make sure you or your loved one has a few options for next place and put on a waiting list as soon as they get there or their back to square one to relapse and keep doing the same thing they came there for. I work with an addiction coalition and this place is horrendous. Many code of Ethics are broken which is intolerable. It's really sad how these places are just money makers and don't care about their patients to throw them back to the streets. No mental health Doctors here even though most addiction involves duel diagnosis due to mental health issues. Also told my loved one they had tuberculosis which can be deadly without symptoms to not only your loved one but anyone who came in contact with them. After couple weeks of not treating them, and X-ray tech came to my loved one to do chest X-ray. Another week went by and as I know if that's true many antibiotics are prescribed for months to get rid of TB. My loved one finally called the place that did the X-ray because none of the workers at this place mentioned the TB again. The company that did the X-ray said my loved one never had TB. Another money maker to charge insurance to make money upon a lie that my loved one never even has. This place is all about the Money or your insurance money not the patient. I was told by professionals before my loved one went here, not to go here but I guess you learn from your mistakes and I should have listened. 30 days will not change your life and with no work done on the workers part to get them on a waiting list to another facility after 30 days due to laziness to be put on the streets it's a waste of time if your loved one is serious about their recovery! Relapse is prominent in this case. I started here with my review but am determined to take it farther.
