Family & Children’s Services Salvation Army Office provides screening, assessment, homeless services, outpatient adult mental health, re-entry services for justice-involved persons, and community outreach. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic with a century of history, it offers screening, assessment, and outpatient services across ten locations, ensuring convenient access to care when it’s needed most. Proven Therapies That Make a Difference They employ evidence-based therapies such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to address trauma at its root. This method helps clients live happier, healthier lives by bringing together physical, emotional, and social support to meet their individual needs and goals for long-term recovery. Special Programs for Life’s Challenges The center offers unique programs like Parenting in Jail (PIJ) classes using the Parenting Inside Out® curriculum to incarcerated parents, enhancing parent-child relationships and reducing recidivism through evidence-based education. The BRIDGES program supports individuals transitioning from correctional facilities, helping justice-involved individuals successfully reintegrate back into the community with the support they need.
