I usually wouldn't review something like this but Dee was a good instructor an I learned something be sober sit back an watch i did this an it worked 2hrs after class

I called Starting Point about 2 months ago. I needed to get my License restated by the WA DOL. The treatment agency I went to closed down and won't respond to my emails. They are the only people who could send info to the DOL and release my drivers license. When I called, I spoke with Kristi. She gave me some helpful information and then got me in touch with De. Between the 2 of them I GOT MY LICENSE BACK!!!!! They were able to contact DOL with all my proof that I completed everything required. I am so grateful! What a relief. They really do want to help people!

I completed an updated assessment with this clinic on April 3, 2025 as part of clearing an old DOL compliance issue. I also completed the recommended Alcohol & Drug Information School shortly after. Even though my assessment was submitted to DOL and clearly documented the lowered level of care, the provider repeatedly made unnecessary and legally irrelevant demands regarding my 2018 assessment, causing significant delays in my process. When I finally researched the DOL requirements myself, I discovered that what was being demanded was not required by law or DOL. After months of going in circles, I had to file for a DOL hearing and formally terminate services just to move forward. If you choose to work with this clinic, I strongly recommend educating yourself on DOL and WAC requirements before starting treatment. Don’t assume the staff will give you accurate or complete information. My experience was frustrating, condescending, and unnecessarily drawn out

This team of people are absolutely amazing. They truly care and and in my experience the best IOP I have participated in. Unfortunately I have participated in quite a few with almost 4 decades of addiction issues. But today I am free indeed and Starting Point helped me get there and stay free. Special shout out to Jen, she's truly one of the chosen,for sure.

I am finishing up phase 1 of deferred prosecution and am so very happy that I chose Starting Point. Heather was so kind and made me feel so welcome. She was the first good thing that happened. Then I started group with Jen! She has taught me so much about my disease. She has helped me accept the fact that I do have a disease called alcoholism. Jen is not only an amazing teacher she is an amazing person. I am doing the work to fix me because of the help I get from Jen. Thank you!

The journey of recovery is completely impossible for me in my own. Starting Point has incredibly kind, compassionate, knowledgeable staff and have gone above and beyond their call of duty to assist me during my journey. The groups were full of support and education and the vast amount of resources have truly helped me. The payment plans made it adorable to do out-of-pocket as well. I am so blessed by the programming and counseling I have received at Starting Point.

It takes someone quite a bit to finally reach out for help, but when someone finally does they get no assistance over the phone. Receptionist didn't give 2 s**ts about the call and was very much not caring to chat or guide in the right direction

I began Starting Point in February 2019 and after my first group meeting I stayed to introduce myself. I ended talking with De for two hours, which unknown to me at the time, probably would’ve been my last night alive if not for her. She talked to me about everything, never judging or making me feel small. My small group was so amazing & I think of these people regularly (Shoutout my old group, hope all y’all are doing great❤️). I have been out of treatment 8 months now and am still clean and sober, in addition to that I willingly go back just to catch up and say hi. These people, both the clients and the counselors, will change your life. Long story short, if you are considering outpatient treatment (for legal or personal reasons) give them a call and talk to De for 10 minutes. I promise you won’t regret it. Good Luck & Stay Safe.
