My current update. Dr Chapek continues to strive for my optimal health. Mind.Body and Spirit. Still 5 star service from him and his team. I developed severe anxiety during the pandemic. Saw multiple psychiatrists testing meds on me was hospitalized. When I got out I had no energy. Dr Chapek and The Tukwilla Amen clinic did 2 brain scans and supported me in blood testing for deficiencies. Dr Chapek helped me get off all the meds and switched me to amino acids, increased my vitamin D which lifted my depression. Adjusted a hormone imbalance which regained my lack of energy. I'm anxiety and depression free and my ADD is under control. The Amen Clinic and Dr Chapek has taught me so much about brain health. The have vast array of books, videos to read and watch. I am forever grateful for bringing back my life that was almost lost. The office is sharp and professional. and they collobarated with me to find solutions.

OUTSTANDING Care! This entire team is incredible. From the moment I walked into the door the reception team was so kind and supportive. Natasha and her team are amazing at keeping things organized and making you feel at home. Cameron is such an awesome and smart human. I really enjoyed learning from him and working with him. I wish I could steal him and hire him to work at our hospital in Montana ;-). He knew my medical record backwards and forwards and put me at ease. I was so thankful for the imaging technician too. He was so good at his job. Last but not least, Dr. Chapek really helped me understand my disease, and gave me clear and helpful information on how to live my best life. I am truly grateful for the team. They changed my life for the better and if you are considering going here, don't hesitate. From the moment I walked into the office, my experience at the front desk was nothing short of amazing, and I truly feel compelled to share how wonderful Kiara and Natasha were. It’s rare to come across people who not only do their jobs well, but genuinely care about the people they’re helping and that’s exactly what I experienced with them. Kiara went completely out of her way for me. She didn’t just stay behind the desk she actually came out and walked over to help me, which instantly made me feel seen, welcomed, and important. That simple gesture alone spoke volumes about her character and how much she truly cares about patients. She was kind, calm, attentive, and made sure I felt supported every step of the way. It never felt rushed or transactional it felt human, thoughtful, and sincere. Natasha was just as incredible. She was extremely informative, patient, and professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly so I never felt confused or overwhelmed. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I understood exactly what was going on. Her knowledge, confidence, and kindness made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and I felt completely comfortable trusting her guidance. Together, Kiara and Natasha made my experience exceptional. They worked as a true team, stayed professional at all times, and created such a positive, welcoming environment. It was very clear that they weren’t just doing their jobs they were genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. I never felt like “just another patient.” I felt cared for, respected, and valued.

We were very frustrated in the thousands of dollars we spent with no results. This clinic’s pricing is high and its services are not tailored to pediatric patients. The value received does not aligned with the cost, given limitations in physician availability and time spent with our family. The initial intake paperwork and preliminary testing, required before seeing the physician, are not age-appropriate for a pediatric patient. The majority of the forms were directed toward adults, making it difficult to complete on behalf of my seven-year-old. As a result, we frequently marked items as not applicable. During the consultation, the physician proposed more than six medications for my son. The physician spent a considerable amount of time looking at the computer screen rather than engaging with us. On our second visit, the physician seemed underprepared and I had to remind him of tests that were not ordered previously and forgotten. He suggested repeating a stool testbecause he forgot to add the necessary order to the initial set. Additionally, medication recommendations were made without a clear assessment of the current regimen. Overall, the experience did not feel productive or well-coordinated, especially given the cost. We have since begun working with a different functional medicine clinic, which has highlighted several areas where the Amen Clinic could improve—namely professionalism, personalized care, and organizational efficiency.

Heather is wonderful. I could not have done this process without her. She is very patient and understands the amount of effort it takes to do something. She’s amazing!!!

Dr. Chapek and Team, I am sending this note to express my gratitude to Dr. Chapek and his team in Seattle. Exactly one year ago I came to the Amen clinic for a brain scan because I felt I was out of options and no other treatments and medications had worked or helped me. After the scan and assessment with Dr. Chapek, we outlined a plan if things went awry and like clock work when the new year started that is exactly what happened. After the second follow up I was in a state of severe depression, Dr. Chapek advised regular check-ins and we moved forward, checking in every other month or so, most of them I was quite a mess and very emotional. I continued to meet with Dr. Chapek and he provided encouragement and resources. It's taken, what has felt like forever but I am proud to say that I am in a much better place than I was just a few months ago. I am so grateful for Dr. Chapek not giving up on me and for really just being there with a timely moment of encouragement or compassion. I am now feeling so much better physically, mentally, and spiritually. The last visit a month ago was such a contrast to my first follow up in February of this year. I heard a really great quote about getting into better overall shape that goes something like this, " people often overestimate what they can do in a month, vs, what they can do over the course of a year" This has proven to be true and it has definitely felt like a slow burn. I feel there really aren't any sort of magic pills, or quick fixes, but the hard work sowed over the year has finally produced a harvest of good things. I'm just grateful for Dr. Chapek, Kaitlin, every time someone from the office called to remind me of an appointment or to help me reschedule if needed, Ya'll have been so great. It really does carry such significance for me, given how much of a mess I was when I first came to the clinic last year.Thank you all so much for helping me get to this point and I'm looking ahead to continuing this growth, and progress. Getting the brain scan and the support from Amen Clinics was life-changing for me. It changed the course of my relationship with myself and my mental health and provided true healing for mental health issues. I have been struggling with my entire life. Now I recommend this treatment to anyone I know, struggling with mental health, especially if they’ve sought treatment other places and have not been successful.
