Ascend recovery centers saved my life. I reached out to Ian Treacy with a need for help with trauma as a recovering addict and he immediately set me up with IOP and personal therapy with a therapist that is very present and available to her patients. The telehealth option meant I did not have to leave home or my life to access the help I needed, but could still have intensive care at a time it was critical. I read some of these other one star reviews where people are talking about not getting their things back and family members not getting calls back and I think “what did you do that made you have to leave SO FAST that you could not take your stuff? Why did you get kicked out?” And then “well of course they aren’t going to update family if the patient wants their privacy maintained— that’s their job!” Please don’t judge this facility based on those naysayers… I work in the field and see every day those who care only about the $$. Sam, Ian and their team care about the person being treated. They are the real deal. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. I trusted them with my life and they gave it back to me.

I was a patient here and they hold your things for very long periods of time if you leave. I’ve been waiting for my things to be sent to me for weeks and they are 0 help. I would not recommend coming here. My stay could not have been more uncompromising. Absolutely no one was there to get sober. The therapist I was assigned was incredibly rude. Not a great place to go if you are actually looking for help. And definitely do not trust them with your property because like I said they are 0 help with getting you back any of your property. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that they have good doctors, which you can find pretty much anywhere else. I had to wait 5 days to receive my medication which I need. 100% do not recommend. Extremely unprofessional establishment.

My 25-year-old son has been at Ascend Recovery in West Palm Beach Florida for about 30 days. After a lot of research, I chose this program for their structured and comprehensive dual diagnosis recovery program. They offer safe and clean housing, behavioral therapy, equine therapy, EMDR and they also take them to AA meetings and different activities, such as the driving range and the movies. My son has been in several rehab programs and also feels that this program is “solid”. We are from the Northeast so it was a big decision to send him to Florida and they helped to make it a smooth and safe transition. I have been very happy with the overall program as well as the staff. Eventually they will also help him to find a job and a safe, sober living environment. I would highly recommend Ascend Recovery to anyone looking for a dual diagnosis substance abuse program.

Kelsey and the rest of the staff are amazing!! She has an innate passion for helping others and always goes above and beyond for her clients. Ascend also offers an extensive network of resources, spanning across several states, to help ensure their clients have accessible aftercare back in their home state. I know several people who have had great experiences there and are still sober today.

PHP: During the initial PHP, thirty one day treatment plan. THERAPY; was the active therapist for Derek. In four weeks, Derek saw for a total of less than two hours. Unfortunately, this was a much needed treatment fo didn't receive. One on one therapy is critical during the first 30 days of treatment. EMDR: During the initial interview session with Derek was instructed that he w 20 minute sessions. After researching EMDR, the standard length of a treatment sessic minutes. Unfortunately, Derek was in dire need of this treatment also, but did not receive this. LEGAL ASSISTANCE: As we instructed prior to sending Derek to Ascend Rec issues with the court in the state of Arizona. Again, we were instructed to send Derek Ascend will provide legal aid to assist in resolving these issues with the court. After the submissions of the court ordered documents with office address, emails addresses ar to we are still receiving notices from the court as they have not receive Ascend Recovery. OPS: Group was supposed to meet 5 days per week from 6-9pm. Apparently that feel apart due to the lack of staff and at times patience to attend the meetings. Apparently, there is a minimum amount of patience required to attend (3) before it is deemed as a therapeutic group. If not, the insurance would not disburse funds. 1OP3: Since 10PS falled, IOP3 was sanctioned and the group met 3 times per week. Unfortunately, staff that were assigned to run the group were not always qualified. We have documentation where one of the staff falsified the documents in order for the insurance company to pay the fees. DRUG THERAPY: Derek was prescribed with Suboxone and he was a self-pay for the prescription. The staff distributing the drugs in IOP were not certified professionals and at times would hand out Derek's neds to other patience. Major offense. PR'OGRAM COMPLETION: Derek successfully completed the program in April 2023. He had asked for the er of completion and didn't receive it until June 2023. As part of the legal aid, that letter of pletion should have been submitted to the court in Florence, AZ. To date, we are still receiving cations from the court as nothing has been received on their behalf. are other issues that were verbally agreed to but never held up. As an example, transportation. knew he did not have a car and the agreement was to pick him up for at least grocery shopping. er happened and he ended up walking rain or shine.This has been a disappointing experience for Derek and a long uphill battle fighting for the items that were included in his treatment but not received. It isn't enough that addicts are fighting a disease that has overtaken their minds, but adding this level of stress to a recovery program could only substantiate the extremely low success rate we see as a nation. Ve are writing with expectation of reparation for the poor quality almost non-existent treatment that as precluded and sold to our family by Ascend Recovery. We are not without documentation, emails, at and phone calls from staff, family's and current and former patients. We feel that we should be compensated for services not received.

Family inclusivity non existent. Over 2 weeks I've called reached out left messages for Brett. No returned calls. I reached out to Kelsey last Saturday, finally a person answers answered limitedly about daughters progress.. Guaranteed her therapist Dr. JOE, would call me back on Monday, 7/242023. Now Thursday no calls giving updates or my ability to be a support system to her .
