I came here at one of the lowest points in my life, unsure of who I was or if I even had a future worth fighting for. I stayed 45 days, and in that time, something in me completely shifted. This wasn’t just about getting sober—it was about learning how to live again. The staff here didn’t treat me like a number or a problem to fix. They treated me like a human being who mattered. Every single person I encountered—from the counselors to the support staff—showed genuine care, patience, and understanding. They met me exactly where I was, even on my hardest days. Bay Area Recovery Center House 4 is truly the miracle house for recovery. Entering inpatient rehab was one of the hardest and most important decisions of my life. When I first arrived I felt overwhelmed and unsure but the staff made me feel so loved and safe. From my first call to secure a bed to my aftercare, I have always been treated me with compassion, patience, and genuine respect. All the staff members created a safe and supportive environment that encourages recovery and vulnerability without judgement. It has truly a been gift to have experienced House 4 as a client and everyone there played a huge part in saving my life. After my stay as a client, I was set up for success as an outpatient. I wholeheartedly thank all the staff and women in recovery that have been a part of my journey!

House 4 saved and changed my life. Forever grateful for the caring and compassionate staff, and for the wealth of knowledge and confidence I gained in my time there. It was so comforting to be in a home setting- nothing felt “institutional” or cold. House 4 will always be a second home. Through the tools and counseling I received I am now approaching 6 months of sobriety- something I never imagined before, and I can now say that everyone around me gets to experience the best version of myself- healthy, whole and free. This place is a gift.
