As a parent and long time active professional in the field, I was concerned about my child going here, fearing another 12 step recovery generate income program. Much the opposite, my child is/was good at what she did; they saw her coming 10 miles away. I am so pleased and happy for the experience they gave her; I would work with them given what they have brought her to realize. She did mention the Art Therapy as cutting through a lot of her bs; she did not see the Art Therapist coming and apparently she was really good. Thank you all so very much. I used to be arrogant enough to think as a parent I could accomplish anything that needed accomplishing with my child. Life is not like that. Thank y'all for doing what you do the way you do it.

My experience at Black Horse was life changing and life saving. I came to Black Horse after serious injuries, multiple failed surgeries. I had been put on large doses of opiates to address the pain. Although I stayed within the parameters of the prescribed medication... I was hooked, and could not get off the meds. Black Horse helped me through a harrowing de-tox, with ultimate care and concern.
