I just want to say symmetria is one of the best rehabs I have ever been in. Everyone here is so caring and so nice and I've helped me so much in my recovery. But I really want to give a huge shout out to Rachel she is an amazing counselor. She's always showed me that she cares about me and my recovery and that means so much to me. I don't know what I would do without her I don't know what I would do without her so thank you so much Rachel you are amazing and symmetry will not be the same without you I love you all best regards your favorite patient sam

They where really caring and loving they took time to make sure my granddaughter was very comfortable ticker in the same day.

I went to deer park when it was a 3 year program. And what I learned about sobriety is that they are a “.non profit “ yet somehow they send you to work the shittiest jobs that u can imagine and if that job requires work boots… best of luck… they send you out with boots that are old and do not fit. Also when coming back from work we were to leave our shitty boots on the back dock and then after the mandatory 5 hours of restpersonal time we woke up and then went to the pile of 200 other residents boots. I can’t tell you how many times I wore boots that didn’t fit. I get free treatment. But this place had us working back breaking jobs while simultaneously collecting all the perks of government assistance. Also we never saw a dime from the work. So working for your treatment I understand…but surely those jobs should of had healthcare… they gamed the system System for healthcare all while having vulnerable ppl working jobs no one else would work and pocketing all the profits. cenikor is a business… not the answer to your prayers

First off, Cenikor does have wonderful staff, the BHTs that actually care and show empathy go a long way. I know they have a job to do, and policy to follow… that being said I was to detox at another facility and to be brought back to Cenikor for residential treatment. They were fully aware of the circumstances and portrayed things to be all okay on the admission side, not even 24 hours into my day back from finishing detox I was told at 4:50pm at night that they hadn’t received necessary documentation from my primary care provider (obgyn) and that in the morning I would be discharged and my nightly stay would be a complimentary stay… let me just say how rude you give me 10 min to contact my obgyn office to obtain documents that were faxed in Friday with confirmation from my obgyn office, that mysteriously never showed up to Cenikor. mind you there was no running water for more than 8 hours during this day as well….. The facility is run down. Only 1 working toilet downstairs for the females to use during the hours where you cannot access any other areas. Seeing as this is a state funded and insurance ran facility, you would think would offer some well taken care of amenities and basic necessities. Only snack machine they had was completely out of order as well… so with 10 minutes to spare after asking if I could make a phone call I was told to go to the central desk to find a bht to do that. No BHT in sight. So I was in a pickle not able to contact the obgyn office and knew in the morning it was slim to nothing to obtain the required document they needed. In retrospect I was a liability to them, and they didn’t want to treat me. Why have me come back there, under the pretenses that everything would be resolved and worked out to only be dropped from the program without actually given the chance to produce the documents they needed. Either way, I’m seeing this as a favor… considering the state the building is in, the food…. Some of which is expired. It all seems like a $$$$ hungry operation at this point. And they only have so many employees left who actually care about the well being of the clients.

They really helped my son get over his psychotic episode and he said that this was the most intense program that he was ever in.I am so proud of him for sticking it out and going to sober living house. And they were able to stabilize my Son on his Meds . Because of that he is just like he was before a loving father and a concerned person who is ready for the responsibility of sober life.

First and foremost if you aren't serious about getting clean/sober then don't waste the bed space that could possibly save a life for someone who REALLY needs it. I wanna thank my Lord and Savior for the opportunity to get back on track. Mrs. Reeves does an exceptional job of being fair across the board and provides everyone an equal opportunity for recovery. Ashley has a huge responsibility and did a great job of meeting everyone's individual needs. Mrs. Veronica, whom a whole section could be dedicated to. A true Angel for the Cause! Huge shout out to all the BHT's not gonna name you all but I will say they are a super bunch of individuals who aren't there just for a paycheck. Mrs. Tia of course you're a gem! Thanks to the medical staff for keeping my blood pressure in check and putting up with me on a daily basis. Ms. Charyle for her role in RSS and taking her time to break down the steps. Super important part of MY treatment that really needs to be implemented as a daily group. Thanks for the cooks for providing us the sustenance to regain our health. And most importantly to all the Peers at Cenikor! You are what makes that place work. Stay positive! Trust the process! Utilize your time!
