CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs

This is an excellent hospital. The doctors, nurses, techs, etc., are highly intelligent and caring. I am grateful they were the ones to care for me. The doctors were very clear and accurate on my care. I knew I was well cared for by the nurses knowledge to my questions and the kindness shown to me. The lab techs were excellent and always showed compassion in taking care of me. Housekeeping was always courtesy when entering my room. The food service was always well served. I would never hesitate to choose this hospital if I were in a crisis.

Took a little extra time but the staff was very professional

The check in process was easy and I arrived 15 minutes early and was in and out in 20 minutes

You guys do an awesome job

I've never had sandpaper rubbed against my skin for any test before. The scrapes and bruises hurt. The nurse was awesome but ouch.

My son was in the ER last night and did not have a good experience at all. He was in for a motor cycle accident. They ran a ton of tests but never saw a doctor the entire time. We asked the nurse if the test results were back and she just told them to us. He had a wound that required stitches on his finger and a broken finger. They did not even wash the wound before stitching it. He came home with dried blood everywhere on his hand and in between his fingers. They were so short staffed that he had to wait an hour and a half after multiple requests just to have someone disconnect him so he could pee. Discharge instructions were bad and again we never saw a doctor the entire time. It was ridiculous.
