Spending 40 days in a treatment center is never easy, but I am truly grateful I landed at DDC (thank you Dakota). The atmosphere felt supportive, safe, and welcoming, and the people there made all the difference. Eric, the clinical director, was truly amazing. Could not have gotten to where I am today w/o his help and guidance. Truly appreciate everything he did for me. Can’t thank him enough. Sam who is another fantastic employee there is the pillar of that facility. He is a soft spoken, trustworthy leader who genuinely cares about the people he serves. Josh, a case manager, consistently pushed me to become a better human being while holding me accountable in the best way. Great bible study as well. Truly passionate about recovery. Amy was a fantastic nurse who cared about my well-being, both medically and emotionally. She was who I went to when I was feeling down. Amazing to have her in my corner through the tough times. Martha, the night nurse, made me feel appreciated and seen during some of the hardest moments, and that meant more than she’ll ever know. She fuggin’ rocks! The Malibu diet was another highlight! The food was incredible, and the chef not only delivered amazing meals but was also great to talk to and connect with. Forever grateful 🤙🏼 Overall, DDC provided an environment where healing felt possible. While the journey was challenging, it was worth it, and I’m thankful for the people who helped guide me through it. Mic Drop 🎤 With love, Justin

My time at Dallas Detox Center was truly supportive and helped me take the first steps in my recovery. A special thank you to Josh, my case manager, for guiding me every step of the way with patience, encouragement, and understanding—it made all the difference. I’m also grateful to Ashley, Stephen, and India for their constant kindness, support, and encouragement. My therapist, Chris, was amazing—he helped me work through my challenges with compassion and understanding. I also want to thank the nurses for making me feel safe and cared for throughout my stay. The entire team at Dallas Detox Center genuinely wants to see you succeed, and I’m so grateful for the support I received. This center gave me the tools and confidence I needed to begin my recovery journey.

DDC and Josh Leder saved my life. I was headed towards death and it was a God send.

I had an incredible experience at DDC. I met so many amazing people there. The staff is incredible! Josh, Charlene, Haley Syd were incredible case managers dedicated to recovery all so funny and cool! Eric, Sam, Chris were so supportive and helpful. Matt, Ashley, Shay, India, Chris Katie were some of the hardest working techs ever! Nursing always staffed to make sure you’re comfortable. The mansion is luxury style beautiful facility I honestly was sad to leave. I have 40 days clean and never felt stronger in my life! I’ve been addicted to meth and heroin for 10 years and struggled to get 1 week on my own. I finally feel freedom!

Case manager Joshua Leder was a God send to me during my time here. He helped me in so many ways! My growth here was a night and day difference, I enjoyed 6am bible study’s with Josh as well as his classes he ran. He always kept me thinking, challenging me with books and work. He was always one step ahead of me and everything that needed to be done for me! I would not be who I am now without him. Thank you Josh I came during a big shift in the clinic moving from one building to another, hiring chefs, new techs, once everything calmed down the food was great, classes were good. The nursing staff was amazing! Deb the head nurse, Chantelle, Heidi and Cindy! All amazing and took such great care of me! Clinical director Erick was a huge help in getting me what I needed as well. The techs were almost like family by the end, thank you to Ashley and Stephen for all you do!!

This was a great place with amazing staff. I learned a lot. Even though there were changes going on the staff was great. Thanks go to Sam, Josh, Ashley, Haley, Matt, Chloe, Stephen, Deb, Zac and Erica. Without you’ll I would not have been able to complete the program and get on to the next phase of my recovery.

My experience at Dallas Detox Center in Weatherford, TX was great. I was there for substance abuse, and I was treated with the utmost respect by staff the entire time I was there which was somewhere in between 30-40 total days. While I was at DDC they were switching up Clinical Directors, so there were many changes in the works at that time including the treatment syllabus, & dietary restrictions amongst other staffing issues of which I as a client wasn’t informed on thoroughly as much as I would’ve like to be, but that just because I’m nosey. Out of all the departments at the facility I felt like the nursing staff was the most well ran & efficient departments. Deborah Wade was head of nursing & she was absolutely incredible all the way around. Joshua Leder was a case manager at the facility, and his work ethic spoke volumes for his dedication to DDC, as well as to each client - even those of us who were not on his caseload. He came early every single day to invest time in those of us who desired true change, and he stayed late whenever necessary. Joshua played a huge role in my recovery, and I could see that he really cared about me & my sobriety on a daily basis. More than just a staff member - he was a real support for me. No matter how busy the faculty was he always made time for anyone who needed/wanted it. Truly a standout employee at Dallas Detox Center & will always be cherished for the role he has played in my sobriety. Also, Samuel Lee was very much so for the client & was always extremely helpful in any way he could be. Amongst others like Heidi & Amy in nursing , and Steven & Matt who were techs during my time there. Overall I had an amazing experience, but ultimately recovery is up to the one who is trying to recover. DDC & all of these staff members I have mentioned played a monumental role in helping me to succeed. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is trying to beat the odds & recover from Alcohol and Substance Abuse.

The techs were hit or miss, they could be great or completely suck. Food decent for the most part and groups were okay except for when they made us play with play dough or popsicle sticks. The case manager Josh was exceptionally helpful and talked me out of making myself homeless to relapse twice and has helped me more times than I count, highly recommend him as a case manager if you can get him.
