I just want to say thank you to everyone at this facility. You made me feel at home. Very clean facility. Great fresh and healthy meals prepared daily by the onsite personal chefs. The program and meetings were very helpful. All the staff made me feel safe and welcome when I first arrived and I was at my lowest. Everyone made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Movie night was fun. Meditation cessions were helpful. Staff goes above and beyond to meet patients needs including going out to the store to purchase any personal items that are needed which are in compliance with the recovery center. I am beyond grateful and can’t thank you enough for your patience and support.

I went into this situation at my worst. My time at Soba ended up being one of the best experiences I've had in years and I still can't believe I'm even saying that. It truly was a life changing experience. Food? Top notch. Staff? Excellent. But the connections I made there were the real highlight. U really are not alone on this journey. Thank u for helping me turn it around.

I just entered Rehab for the first time in my life. Truthfully, I didn’t know what to expect at all as I walked through those front doors. Going to SOBA was beyond a blessing. Exceeded my expectations ten folds. The facility, the staff, the cooks, everything that placed offered was unbelievably great. It all started and ended with the director of client care, Michael. No matter what was asked from the patients, he did it or got it. Showered us with treats and his time and care. He was a great man in and out. 10/10 and would recommend this place to anyone who is seeking help to their road to recovery

I highly recommend Soba to anyone who is truly trying to get clean and sober. I have been to a few different treatment centers over the years snd i also worked in health-care for many years, and have seen both good and bad programs. In my personal experience SOBA is one of the best. I had middling expectations before I arrived but they were absolutely exceeded. The staff are well qualified, have lived experience, and are genuinely caring and compassionate--I never felt like anyone was there for just a paycheck and I always felt like I received person-centered care. The groups are mostly discussion based, and you get out of it what you put in. Some treatment centers focus on didactic groups, SOBA is definitely participatory in nature, which is what I was looking for. I spent a month there in their inpatient program (I did not do detox there) and they helped arrange my aftercare in a great program afterwards. When I was there there was a great diverse group of clients not only from around NJ but a surprising number from across the US as well. There are only I think like 12 beds in detox and 12 in inpatient, so the groups are not too large and you get ample time to participate in groups, etc., plus weekly therapy. They maintain an active alumni group and hold a weekly alumni meeting to help you build a sober network. The facility is recently constructed, clean, comfortable and well maintained. Expect to gain weight there, the food is very good (but too much chicken on the menu lol) and there is plenty of it, plus unlimited snacks of all kinds too. One staff member is dedicated to ensuring patient needs are met, and truly goes out of his way to ensure your treatment and material needs are met while you are there. I hope this review is helpful, I tried to touch on everything I thought someone else would want to know. I'm coming up on 6 months clean as I write this, and SOBA helped me do it.
