This treatment center is a joke. People won't recover from this serious disease by watching videos and movies that have nothing to deal with recovery. Watching videos just points out the fact that the supposed therapist are to lazy to do their job and most likely dont know how to do their job. Don't treat a serious disease that people deal with like children and teach nothing that helps recovery due to the fact that we learn nothing as if we're just in kindergarten. This is a serious disease and should be treated with real life solutions to get people back on track in life instead of drawing picture, dealing with coping skills that clearly dont work in everyday society, and false since of reality that creates a pink cloud effect that everything is puffy rainbows dropping sprinkles now that your sober. Teach real life situations. Give people a true understanding of budgeting instead of just giving someone a piece of paper thinking they know how to do it themselves. Give them a real life solution of how to get and sustain a job that gives them a purpose in life instead of telling them to get a dead end job that leads them no where other then just realizing they are a worthless piece of flesh with a job that just will lead them to use again cuz they hate their life. Most importantly, give them a decent enough living situation so they can see that soberity is a better life then using instead of giving them a sober living situation that even the people that work there say is insufferable. Worst part, these ppl that work there dont know how to hand out meds. It's borderline illegal as they hand out meds in plastic bags instead of keeping them in there prescription bottles. Seriously if this is how addiction treatment centers act as a business, then it's clearly way people can never recovery to as disease as drug addiction and why this disease is seen more as criminals instead of seen as someone who struggles from an illness just as bad as cancer. And yea when I was there, someone oded and died and it was treated like nothing happened. They will give up on their patients and throw you out like dirt. It ain't a treatment center as much as it is a business that makes money off people suffering from a serious disease that they end up never finding a solution for those who truly are seeking help. If mental health is health, then treated like such because addiction is truly a horrible disease and I can attest its probably one of the worst diseases to deal with since we are treated like dirt and cockroaches in this world when all we try to do is be an asset to a society but can't due to the fact everyone gives up on people like us that if they can understand what we go thru in life, they can someday see the gifts we can give back in this world if they can only see and have a compassionate heart to help us give our life's a chance to become who we truly are because beaten us down like dirt just shows why society will never find solutions to problems that can easily be treated

Denoon offers an an alternative to Wishope yet there is no noticeable difference in clinical care and less amenities for clients in sober living.

This review reflects on my experience with Eric, Tom, Jayne the housing supervisor, the owner John and especially Kim and intake person, Michele. This place claims to support people with dual diagnosis, but when real mental health struggles show up, they respond with threats, disrespect, and control instead of actual help. I was told I had blanket approval to step away when I needed to regulate, yet when I tried to do exactly that, I was threatened with a higher level of care instead of being supported. Meltdowns aren’t just “acting out”—they are a neurological response to extreme distress. My coping mechanism is to step away so I don’t escalate further, but instead of allowing me to do that, I was pushed, antagonized, and punished. This program is not a safe space. Counselors mock past crises, push buttons just to prove a point, and dismiss real concerns. They use buzzwords to make it sound like they care, but when it comes to actually helping, they do nothing. If you want real support for mental health and recovery, look somewhere else. Update (re: Denoon): My concerns about this place were confirmed when I returned to deal with a medication error they made. Denoon staff somehow picked up a controlled medication from the pharmacy on my behalf without asking or informing me. When I found out and asked about it, I was told the medication was destroyed. No warning, no chance to pick it up, no explanation. When I calmly asked Kim why she wouldn’t call me first, she coldly told me she didn’t owe me an explanation and accused me of interrupting her group—despite the group clearly being on break. They also lied to my doctor and withheld my discharge summary, which made it impossible for my primary to prescribe my medication. When I asked Michele (intake staff) what to do, she literally told me to go to the ER for a controlled substance—which the ER wouldn’t even prescribe. Total waste of time, all because they refused to do the basic things they were supposed to. This isn’t just bad service. This is actively harmful. Destroying someone’s meds, refusing to provide discharge paperwork, and giving out false info instead of help? That’s not care—it’s negligence. If you’re neurodivergent, have trauma, or just need basic respect—this place is not safe.

Jim at Denoon is amazing. You can tell he is very passionate about what he does & truly cares about his clients/patients. He goes above & beyond for you. I really appreciate him and I’m happy he works here
