Treatment Services Embark at Campbell provides mental health and addiction services to young adults and adolescents ages 9-18 and their families. Their partial hospitalization program (PHP) provides the highest level of care, engaging teens in specialized individual and group therapies and providing 1-on-1 attention from teachers and tutors assisting with schoolwork. Adolescents can also earn credits that can be transferred back to their school. The partial hospitalization program uses methods such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), individual coaching and counseling, group and family therapy sessions, and experiential therapies to treat young people who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms that are difficult to manage but do not require 24-hour care. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is the next step down from partial hospitalization. It is a comparable treatment program to partial hospitalization, but group and individual therapy sessions are held in the evening to meet patients’ and families’ school or work schedules. Adolescents in intensive outpatient care get tailored treatment programs that may include trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and Smart Recovery addiction treatment. Patients spend a minimum of 12 hours per week in intensive outpatient care, usually 3 hours per day, 4-6 days per week. When attending in-person sessions is not an option, Embark at Campbell also provides a virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) for a more accessible and convenient approach to receive care. What They Treat Using a trauma-informed approach, Embark focuses on treating adolescents and young adults who are suffering from a variety of mental health and behavioral difficulties. Their knowledgeable and experienced staff can treat mental illnesses like borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety. Eating disorders, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), gaming addiction, and substance misuse and addiction are some of the other behavioral disorders that can be addressed. Embark at Campbell also offers gender affirming treatment for LGBTQ+ youth.

Recovery Care Offered

Day Treatment

In a PHP, patients live at home but follow an intensive schedule of treatment. Most programs require you to be on-site for about 40 hours per week.

Intensive Outpatient Program

An intensive outpatient program (IOP) falls between inpatient care and traditional outpatient services, with therapy and skills-building activities designed to support recovery and provide flexibility. IOP is ideal for those needing support but not the 24/7 care of a residential facility.

Outpatient

Outpatient treatment offers flexible therapeutic and medical care without the need to stay overnight in a hospital or inpatient facility. Outpatient care typically offers a range of therapies and medical interventions individuals can attend alongside daily life.

Virtual & In-Home Care

The delivery of therapeutic services utilizing technology such as video conferencing, online messaging or phone calls, allowing for flexibility, comfort and increased access to care.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Substance use and mental health can occur simultaneously as co-occurring disorders. Treatment for co-occurring disorders involves therapy and other personalized interventions to address both conditions.
