Evolve Teen Treatment Center - Danville

horrible, terrible, awful just begin to describe this place. the staff do NOTHING about bullies until they get in trouble for it. some of the staff (this girl named jacksie or something) just insult you. do NOT send ur kid here, trust. the only upsides were the food and my therapist, but other than that it was awful.

through the years i’ve went to evolve twice, and i’ve got the most of the program, i’ve learned so much from evolve! I went to evolve walnut creek in 2024 and evolve danville in 2025. The staff are constantly trying their best to lift the kids up and they are extremely helpful. being at evolve has helped me grow and i’m so thankful for everyone there! Jodi, nick, ernestine, rosalind, and james really helped me! it’s been about 5 months sense my last evolve residential! The only thing bad is that they’re really under staffed. another thing i’d say is it really depends on the kids there that affect your treatment . the staff could try their best but it depends on the kids

Evolve saved my son’s life. He had a complete turn around after completing the program. My son has hope and a real desire to live now. I can never repay the staff at evolve for giving my son the courage to live. I am forever indebted and endlessly thankful!

From the initial assessment to the final discharge was nothing short of amazing! Having gone through a tuff experience prior with a residential home we were very nervous about having to take this route again. Our daughter had the most supportive therapist and the house staff were so encouraging. Evolve includes the family very closely. Although our daughter resided there our entire family benefited from the sessions, the learned tools, the support with communication. Since coming home she has done a complete 180 and enjoys life these days. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVOLVE to any family who truly wants their child to have a safe, effective, supportive home environment to heal at.

hi! So, I have been to Evolve Treatment Centers on two occasions. Once, when I was 14, I went to Lafayette, had a wonderful time, and got the help I needed. The staff was amazing, and I felt super supported and cared for. Now the second time I got sent to Evolve Danville was inlate December. I had a HORRIBLE experience, and I really do believe it just made me worse. I wasth about two staff members. I still think about those two staff members at least once a week. They wrote me letters of goodbye and overall taught me things that I'm forever grateful for, so thank you for that. But every single other staff member I came in contact with was just god awful. like November- only "close" wiTE being there. I did not appreciate how uptight they were. bro, why am I getting in trouble for being disregulated BECAUSE of the staff and just overall environment? Do not get me started on the program dir They made me HAector; she was the Worst therapist I have ever met. I guess one positive thing is the food. Fantastic chef! Bt overall DO NOT send your child to Evolve.

Went here for mental illness help and they didn’t help was exhausting and demoralizing

I went Here from late December to mid February and it was an ok experience, there is a lot of reasons on why I gave it a low rating though. 1. the psychiatrist. There was a psychiatrist that we all saw weekly, it was over zoom and most appointments only lasted 5 mins where they asked you basic questions that they probably could of just looked at the notes for. She was also very unhelpful and would tell kids who struggle with restrictive eating disorders to eat less. 2. Staff. A lot of the time it was one staff to 6 kids and sometimes no one would show up and the therapists would have to watch us, there would multiple staff who would scream and the kids over minor inconveniences, and there was so much miscommunication between staff. 3. Sleeping situations. I am a trasgender man and they would exclusively room me with female clients when there were options where my roommate could be male or i could have a solo room, they kept rooming me with females and it made my dysphoria so bad to the point i slept in the hallway floor for over a week and i only went back into the room because it was causing my back to be in constant pain and they were starting to take away any extra blankets and all my stuffed animals 4. clients. a lot of the clients there were very rude and would do things that bordered on bullying, they would often scream, we had to spend hours in the garage because a client was having a breakdown downstairs, when i first got there the window was broken because someone broke it. 5. Therapists. My therapist was quite unhelpful and would talk about things that i didn’t want to talk about or not talk about things i wanted to talk about, she would ignore a lot of my worries and was just sorta annoying. so yea theres more but these were the main 5 things, it was not that good of an experience but did at least somewhat stabilize me
