First Steps Recovery was a great experience. The counselors were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout my journey. They are experienced and are always there to listen to you when you’re in need of a talk. The group facilitators were also extremely knowledgeable in the disease of addiction and always had great insight, advice and stories of their own struggles to share with us. The techs were very sweet and caring. They made you feel comfortable and almost at home during your stay. The chefs are very great cooks and make delicious meals. Once you’re finished with inpatient treatment, First Steps has a great outpatient program. As well as Sober Living Homes. The counselors do a great job of transitioning you into these next steps. Overall, if you are in need of treatment; First Steps Recovery is the place to go to. You will learn a lot about the disease of addiction and how to manage it throughout your journey of sobriety.

The program is great. The facilitators are amazing. I am learning a lot here and still working on myself in the short period of time still it’s a long road to reconstruction staying focused a second a minute an hour a day at a time thanks for the help the advice and the recommendation. My caseworker, Amanda is an amazing and a wonderful person. I am grateful for her and also my therapist, Alex. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First Steps Recovery truly made a huge difference in my life. I liked the curriculum so much that I kept all of the literature they gave me—it was that impactful and helpful for my recovery. A special thank you to my caseworker, Amanda, who handled my case properly and promptly. She was professional, organized, and genuinely cared about my progress. My therapist, Alex, was incredibly helpful, fair, and supportive throughout the process. She always took the time to really listen and guide me in the right direction. All of the facilitators at First Steps Recovery were very knowledgeable and truly invested their time and energy into my recovery. You can tell they care about what they do and about the people they help. I’m very grateful for the support I received here and highly recommend this program to anyone seeking recovery.

Nothing short of a God sent! In my family’s worst moment, we were referred to this organization and were in touch with their intake coordinator Doug Hames. He is the reason we took that leap of faith and chose a rehab clear across the country. He spent hours with us providing education, understanding, and support of every kind. As a parent, he was responsive to every concern and question I had throughout our journey thus far. He is an angel that God placed in our path to give us the faith, courage, and comfort to endure this long journey. My son who is currently there is well taken care of, supported, and genuinely happy to be there amongst nurturing staff and residents. He is on his way to reclaiming his life and happiness. I could not be more grateful and am writing this review for any family who is trying to making such a critical decision. I would be happy to share my feedback with anyone who needs reassurance about First Steps and the programs they offer.

This place saved my life it is a very nice place you detox then get started on your self recovery journey with groups meeting and a meeting there is gym there is alumni after also so you can stay connected with the people you went through with I had a great bunch of guys I went through the same time and we all stay connected thanks first step

This program has been very accommodating and taught my husband a lot. He has continued into a sober living that is also partnered with first steps. I’m grateful insurance has covered this.

First Step Recovery played a huge role in my dad’s recovery. Their program goes beyond sobriety by involving and supporting the whole family, which made a meaningful difference for us.
