These negative reviews are straight bullshit. I agree 💯 with Ryan's comments. I was one of the first when this clinic reopened. It's been 3 years. By far best staff, nurses, atmosphere you could ask for at a clinic. Go out of their way for you, as long as you aren't stomping your feet like 2 year old when you don't get what you want. They've helped me out in Vegas when my flight was cancelled. They called the nurse at 2am I was in er dosed and out in 46 min because the head nurse on call is awesome! Carlos by far best counselor I've ever had. Not every one stops using drugs immediately when they get on methadone. You gotta fix the problems that are causing you to use in the first place and that takes time and hard work.

My question is why this faculty continues to dispense the methdone to clients I who are still using illegal drugs ? Who is liable when the family overdoses becasue of this problem ? Please ! Get on board on helping clients not enabling them .

I was hoping to reply to two of the one Star reviews because they don't deserve that and now I'm even mad at myself because the only thing my 5 star review could possibly do is bring in new clients and that just could make the line longer and I enjoy spending on the rare occasions at most 15 minutes. Unless a patient is having a situation and they personally need a longer session. To the reviewer claiming they make it difficult to get off it. Your comment was a year ago and I'm just curious where you're at with your recovery today? If you're back out there then your counselor recognized you aren't ready I was trying to help you. And the reviewer about a bottle check and the house fire. Dude I don't even think they have been open for 5 years yet and if they have it's just passed 5 years, So I'm already skeptical of your claim. Now I've been on methadone for dam near 20 years I've been to almost every clinic at one point in Monmouth and Ocean County, So I unfortunately consider myself an expert on the matter and a few things strike me as odd other than you're "5 years clean drug tests", about to serve up some swiss cheese to your claim. Mainly even if you manage to steadily acquire 2 negative samples a month positive for only methadone for a 5 years consistently that I highly doubt but I know if some how you did than you were dumping because anyone even if they're not sober when they were writing the comment that you wrote they would have referenced it as 5 years clean time because that is not an easy thing to do and only someone who is either totally lying or cheating the drug test would refer it to as 5 years of clean drug screens. So if I can figure that out from your five sentence comment I'm positive your counselor knew and used your tragic event of a house fire against you so she could finally break up your 5-year study plug of gallons of clean urine. And then from forced rehab after rehab after rehab with endless meetings your story is on the level of the dog ate my homework. Anyone who has even slightly struggled with addiction can see that. Lastly from step work and being around people who have actually put together sometime the most common traits that they need to adapt is humility and the ability to not let something like that bother them especially to the point that they have on Google reviews and make false allegations. On the very slight chance that I'm wrong I apologize to you please forgive me but I don't think I needed to. If you want you can pick the mic back up. Boom 🤯🤯. Harbor Mat has provided me with some of the most calm and helpful care in an environment that tends to not be in so many other places. I am so thankful for them and I shouldn't have to point out my extremely long career as a patient so it's not hard to figure why I'm still on it and it's well known to them my extensive history and I wonder would any other clinic continue my treatment after almost 20yrs, I can't guarantee someone won't have a bad experience or that there isn't some counselors I think that aren't the greatest but most of them are there and they understand the patient on a personal level and the most effective treatment for that patient to keep them alive somewhat stable or completely stable and alive. And I would have been dead 20 times over if it wasn't for methadone,
