I can’t tell you how wonderful HVRC is. The nursing staff, counselors and recovering addicts and alcoholics are loving and compassionate. I learned so much about my addiction and was given the tools to use upon discharge. If you have the chance, take the Pain class given by Shari. It’s about emotional pain. You will not regret it.

I love this place. Miss Jackie and Gwen alone make this place wonderful. Don't let where its at fool u. I resented this first time I went here. After a week realized this is exactly where I need to be. Detox is awesome they take care of there peps. The program there is amazing as well. Unfortunately I had to come back for a second spin at it. But that time I pushed to go there. SHOUT OUT all my peps at HVRC. Love Kevin Mclay. To miss Jackie love Big Mac.

HVRC is responsible for the reclamation of my spirit. I arrived for treatment thinking that my only problem was a critical dependency of alcohol. What I was shown is a manner of living that feeds my soul. No longer operating in the shadows, I can face life as it comes with a renewed sense of self that is not guided by fear and doubt. A TOTAL MONEY GRAB! Stay away from this place. I have helped my friend through recover and everything has gone well other than his one week stay at this place. Very dishonest people.

I was admitted 04/22/24. Recovering from opioid addiction. This was my second time around. However, this time I put in a maximum effort in every group along with every assignment..I wanted to be successful in my recovery. I was warmly greeted and got down to business. It's is amazing what we can accomplish with a open mind, trusting heart and a willing spirit. The staff was incredible.. truthful.. and actually cared. Currently I am 92 days sober...no wants or desires ...or cravings. I strongly recommend Mrs Sherry " pain group " it is intense....but it had such a profound effect in my life. If you need help.. reach out, HVRC is in the top 20 centers in the nation I usually don't do reviews.... Every word is true and heartfelt... I now have a greatful additude and the desire to help my brothers and sisters who are in need. Just reach out... God bless .. David ( LT )

It feels weird posting a review of a rehab, facility, huh? Well, if it helps make anyone feel more comfortable and confident in seeking help, I guess it's worth it. I did a medical detox from benzos here. The staff are all wonderful, caring people, who take good care of you and try to keep you comfortable and safe. With their treatment, I felt no withdrawal symptoms and aside from some drowsiness, no side effects. The only possible complaint I have is the food, but it kept me nutritionally satisfied, and that's enough. It's not a vacation. If you feel like you need to make a change in your life, or got referred by your doctor or a family member, I fully recommend the place. Recovery is hard, but they'll do their best to make the initial (and scariest, IMO) detox process as easy and comfortable as possible.

My son was referred to this place by Kaiser Permanente. He was discharged in the middle of the night during Hillary tropical storm. I pleaded for them to wait until the morning since I live far away and the RN said no. They throw him to the streets with no money just the cloth on his back. This people are cruel. Shame on Kaiser Permanente for referring their patients to this hell hole.

I tried TWICE to get psychiatric help from these people and couldn't get passed intake! They were 1st ignorant of my medical conditions of ms, terminal lung diseases, and other comorbiditities, they couldn't decide if I could even come to their facility. Once a nurse got involved, the 1st was so rude I hung up on her. Gave them the benefit of the doubt because let's face it medi-medi... so sucked it up with my best Billie Eilish voice and tried AGAIN...NOPE! Into the convo she was denying they even offered my services directly advertised on their site! I don't think the other 'bad review' was 'just a disgruntled patient' anymore. Thus, I copy and paste my reviews on a myriad of platforms... So try and silence the truth... #RUN FROM HERE!
