Great experience and wonder staff!

I’ve literally been here for 7hrs straight still not in a room. It’s 68 people here and there are taking their time. If you care about staying alive please don’t go to beaver medical

This place is horrible. My wife an I haven been sitting here for over 3 hours now and all they have done is taken her blood. And you cant give the excuse of "we are busy" when we got here there was hardly anyone here now it is busy. Her doctor instructed her to come to the er due to severe complications from a recent procedure (today) and it feels like shes just being written off. If I was anyone else I would have drove the extra time to go to Wexford. I do not recommend this hospital especially for the ER

If I could give negative stars, I would. Took my son to the er Friday going into Saturday and I guess because new ownership is happening every person there has just said screw their job. My son who is 18 months old had a terrible cough and I was worried he had stridor. To start, they attempted to do an anal temp on him IN THE TRIAGE room, which is completely unnecessary for a child his age. They registered him under the wrong name, we waited almost 3 hours for results from a chest x ray, and I put my call light on and waited 20 minutes for a nurse to show, she never did. We finally walked to the nirses station after nobody came in to check on us, no Dr ever came to the room. Finally after I went there the Dr came to the room and said oh we won’t have results until 6 am, you can go home. I said can he at least get a steroid? So they gave him one at my request. Fast forward to TUESDAY and nobody ever called with results. So I call this morning and am told they cannot give results over the phone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. Take the extra time and go to a hospital that actually cares because these people just don’t.

Two stars because the emergency room is always faster than other hospitals. However, It's fast because they usually dismiss your problems. I had to go to a different hospital for a torn shoulder rotor cuff because Heritage Valley just gave me a lidocaine patch and basically just said "idk what's wrong, deal with it". Upon going to a different hospital, they gave me a steroid shot and my arm immediately got better over the week. What I really want to highlight in this review is that this is not the place you want to deliver your baby at. I'm grateful my obgyn gave me this pamphlet. It saved me from possibly delivering my baby here. "We prefer you don't have a birth plan" "it offends us". Last time I checked, the mother is the one giving birth, they are not here to give medical staff an easy and convenient experience during what is supposed to be the most special, beautiful experience of your life. It could offend yall that mothers might not want certain things for THEIR birth. Because a mother might not want to be induced, not want their lady bits cut with a pair of scissors, not want an epidural, etc. they're telling you how to do your jobs? Focus on making a better experience for the patient, not the other way around. Because if I'm going to be honest, I couldn't care less how someone wants ME to give birth compared to how I want my birth experience to go. I understand things may not go as planned, but expecting mothers should not be shamed about having a preference on how they birth their baby from their body. I'm so very grateful yall said this out loud to tell me exactly what kind of experience I would have had, so I could avoid this place.

Absolutely not a good place to give birth, they don’t even want you to have a birth plan because they said they’re “offended” by it. I’ve heard horror stories of this place and that they even ignore your request to do the delayed cord clamping even though it’s the most beneficial for babies
