Horizon Health and Wellness Florence

I just enrolled back in the drug and alcohol counseling with Horizon. My former counselor Yolanda Ibarra, who I had for three years was fantastic and now with the my new counselor that I just saw today on June 30, Rashida I feel a good rapport and very comfortable telling my story. The receptionist also today and I forgot her name was very friendly and personable. Thank you to God, 12 step recovery programs, and the support team at Horizon health and wellness, I’m well on my way to living a clean and sober life again. Thank you guys, Gary Bleyle

I sent up an appointment first week in August and the intake was amazing. MJ was very nice! Was told I would get an appointment for my kiddo in a week or so. Called several times. 6 weeks later I had a in home appointment scheduled for them to come, they never called , they never showed up. It’s October now and still no appointment with them. If you have a crisis forms someone else for your kiddo!

I got childcare arrangements and drove 40 minutes for my appointment. When I arrived I was told the doctor was not actually there and it would be a zoom/telehealth meeting. The front office staff also seemed confused I was there even though I was told to arrive 30 minutes early. They even called morning of to make sure I was still coming and never mentioned it would be a telehealth call. I could have done that at home. I found it all very unprofessional.

People here are very sweet. There’s a Nurse there that treats me like her best friend. And the doctor is just as kind.

I see why the stars aren’t at a 5. I call to make an appointment for my partner because he doesn’t have the time always to call and be on hold with doctors offices. I waited 30 minutes on hold just to be told that he has to be the one to schedule the appointment. Ridiculous!

Worst behavior health center around. And unfortunately they're like the only one aside from AZ Childrens which also sucks. They can never provide services consistently and effectively. They can never refer out for appropriate services. My sons been with them since he was almost 5, so 7 years and it's been nothing but a TERRIBLE experience no matter what location he has gone to. The behavior health system in AZ is one of the biggest reasons why I am leaving this state.

Went to get my blood drawn this morning and when I really hate needles anyway the lady that drew my blood was awesome come to find out she was the supervisor over the medical assistants she did an awesome job thank you
