This treatment has completely changed my life. I can’t even begin to express what a 180 turnaround I had from the very first infusion. After trying a myriad of different medications, seeing a therapist weekly for over a year, collecting a small library of workbooks, and subscribing to multiple self-help programs (all helpful in their own ways) I still couldn’t escape the numbness and despair I was stuck in. I went in pessimistic, believing Ketamine would be just like everything else I’d tried. I was wrong. My deepest gratitude extends not only to Dr. Jeffrey Cantrell, who is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about his work, and who impressed me by speaking with complete honesty since our very first video call ;but also to the entire team. As he aptly put it: “Ketamine is not a cure.” And yet… it has felt very gosh darn close to one for me. The nurses and staff are truly the kindest, most caring medical professionals I have ever experienced. We’ve all had clinical experiences where compassion was missing — but here, you can feel that everyone believes in what they’re doing and genuinely wants to help. My nurse, Kevin, was not only kind, knowledgeable, and friendly, but he also made me feel comfortable, safe, and welcomed every single time. I am one of the lucky ones (haven’t been able to say that often in my life!). Ketamine infusions helped me significantly from day one. When Dr. Cantrell told me “80% of people find relief through this treatment,” my depression was sure I’d be the 20%. Thankfully, I wasn’t. I truly hope that anyone who is struggling with the hopelessness of depression can find their way to this treatment. Cannot recommend Ketamine Clinics highly enough. From my first visit, everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. More importantly, there is no question in my mind that the therapy absolutely works. I started my journey in a very dark place. Honestly, my enjoyment of life was next to nothing and I was stuck in a complete rut. When I started the infusions, I was not taking care of myself daily, I was not going outside, there was very little in my daily routine aside from sleeping, eating, and watching tv. When I started infusions, the success reviews and stories I read made me hopeful, but initially I was still doing everything the same. However, it really was starting to change my way of thinking and processing the world. Gradually, I started to walk outside and walk to get food and groceries. I started to see some friends. I finally changed my clothes and took a shower. This entire time the individuals helping me at the facility could not have been nicer and friendlier. I cannot stress enough the way you feel welcome, warm, home. I then started the TMS treatments after consulting with their psychiatrist. Let me tell you, it is a commitment, but I am so glad I went through with it. I am still coming in for my 8-10 week infusions and honestly I could not be happier with my time here. 10/10. Every time. I am so happy I found this place. Special thanks to my therapists. Life changing services being offered. The entire staff are some of the warmest friendliest I've ever worked with. They always make sure you are feeling safe and comfortable through out the entire experience. Also, very punctual and no long waits in the waiting room. I am doing so much better, night and day, since my treatments.

I have dealt with treatment-resistant depression since I was about 15, which is almost 18 years ago at this point (yikes). I have tried countless medications to no avail. I thought I would be forced to live a life full of crippling sadness, zero motivation, and self-destructive thoughts. As a last-ditch effort, I was approved for ketamine therapy at Ketamine Clinics, and it was the best thing that could have happened for my mental health. Everyone was so incredibly nice, they made me feel safe and they were very transparent about everything. After a series of 8 sessions, I was experiencing life in a completely alien way. Everything that I had come to associate with life (bleakness, sadness, etc.) was diminished, and some of it almost completely disappeared. I am a year and a half post-therapy, and while I still arrange "maintenance" sessions, my perception of life is so much better. Ketamine Clinics Los Angeles changed my life. Full stop.

I was ready to face the fact that depression, sadness, and anxiety were going to be a burden for me to bear for the rest of my life. I have been dealing with all of it, to some degree, for as long as I can remember. I have tried many types of medication, therapy, and even TMS treatments. For me, they only brought short term relief. Within a few months, after increase after increase of medication, the depression and anxiety returned, or the side effects of the medication became too hard to endure. When I first heard about ketamine treatments I was very skeptical because of my experience with it in my younger, party years. How could a party drug help with depression? The answer was, when administered correctly, it can be. After the second infusion, I experienced a lightness and clarity of thought that I don't remember feeling for several decades. All the ideas and concepts that I had gathered from transformational workshops, 12-step meetings, self-help books, and religion that was serving as only a Band-Aid on a enormous wound, well . . . finally stuck. Not everyday is perfect, which is just life; but my brain seems to put challenges and disappointments in a place that doesn't allow them to fester into depression and anxiety. I can work through fears without being shallowed alive by them. My experience of the infusions is that they are like a deep, vivid, guided self-meditation. I experienced a bit of fear during the first treatment, but because of the support from, Julian, my Registered Nurse, I was able to feel safe and protected, and the fear vanished. Moving my hands and feet a little helped me a lot and I'm not quite sure why. I think it helped me to connect to my body at the same time surrendering to the affect of the ketamine. By the end of my treatments, I felt more in my body that I have ever felt in my life. Thank you to everyone that was a part of my experience at the clinic -- Jeffrey my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who talked me through what I was to expect and who monitored my progression; Camila and Chelsie at the front desk who greeted me with kindness and lovely smiles; and Julian and Edith, the Registered Nurses who were there from start to finish of each infusion, always attentive, always compassionate, and always serene. I can't thank you all enough.
